lvl4 Maelstrom: i use xlarge SB but I wonder: does losing one hardener to fit the battery make up for the lack of resistance? Really need to check that on EFT. Great vid thanks for posting.

@lebarosky i was using a nightmare once, 1 XL booster and 2 boost amp, with only 2 hardeners, woork'd out fine vs anything from minmatar repuplic to sansha's and blood raiders. i was using 2x CN booster amp's but since the mealstrom have booster bonus i dont think you need more then 1 amp, or 2 normal.. since idk you'r fit it's hard for me to say if it needs any improvement.

I only use the sleip with gangs.as i am the bait. I run lg crystals, improved drugs and a pith x type xl booster. Yes the fit is mostly faction (1.3bil) but it has 2400hp every 3.4 secs and has 80% resists across the board. Deeps are about the same.

So in my opinion Sleipnir is Beast.

@p0rnstorejanitor Yeah, but if your going to do some tanking, you can use a Pith A type, waaaaaay cheaper on cap, plus you wouldnt need to use up a valuable med for a cap booster. But anyways, i love the sleipnir, i love this fit, if the sleipnir had a vagina, id fuck it >>

@p0rnstorejanitor Because caldari are heavy shield tankers would it be best to train for minmatar becuase more of their ships use shield tanks, (ive heard minmatar have no tank but eh) becuase i would have more shield skills?

@liberty211662 you can cross train minmatar, a few of their t1 ships are shield tankers. Cyclone and Maelstrom. You can jump right into them after you train up Autocannons. Once that's done you can train up armor tanking to use ships like the hurricane and typhoon both of which are really good pvp ships

@idk70six the sleipnir is not a tackler so no dont fit a micro warp on a drake either do what the ships role is and nothing else and you wont die as often as i bet you do

I've been playing with the sleipnir for weeks now and I can't find any decent fits other than a double small pith a-type shield booster, 2 invuls and a point. - everything else fails.

@HortonofDOOM With Eve the Game and all the expansions are free you just pay a subscription fee. With shields in this game when you turn it on you do see a graphic of it working

well if your taking much damage no amount of rep or cap will save you. If i would have had like 3 drakes shooting at me i wouldn't have lasted long unless i killed one of them first
