  • Your comment to :-)

  • I love this song and your arrangement is very nice!

  • Nature is amazing here, unfortunatly the some of the music scene is genereally influenzed a lot by the "Rock and Beer" combination ;-) On a different note, a nice approach to celtic music for guitar is:

    1. Find the (celtic) melody in Midi format on the net

    2. Import it into tabledit spend some time finding the best tuning (I love open D)

    3. Add harmonies basslines in tabledit

    4. Find out if its playable.

    5. Go to youtube or celtic music forum and hear other peoples versions.

  • Greetings from Norway, I really like your arrangements and your playing, thanks for posting and for being an inspiration.

  • Very nice. I hope to visit Norway someday...

  • Thank you :-)

  • I really ought to get to grips with the DADGAD tuning. Excellent. 5******

  • Nice arrangement.

I heard this done by Maggie Sansone on the hammered dulcimer, but it sits nicely on the guitar and you played it in my favorite tuning.

  • can you please tab this as well as your blackbird tune?

  • Some of my videos were made to help studying the tabs I wrote for the french revue "Trad Magazine", so it's difficult to put them on the web... But I think it's very easy to find the tab from the video. Good work ;-)

  • Superb!

  • Thank you :-)

  • very beautiful, very happy to know you....what guitar is this?????

    Thanks for sharing

    Chris

  • Merci beaucoup. C'est une Lowden O23, fabriquée en Irlande.

  • Very nice, thank you :-)

  • This is a really good arrangement. Do you know where i can get tab for this as i would love to do an arrangement of it.

    Peter. 5*****

  • If you want only the melody to write you own arrangement, you can easely find it in a site named "The session" (youtube don't allow to post a link in a comment but google is your friend...)

  • From Milano, city founded by the Celts :)

  • Ciao Jean,

it's a great pleasure to listen and watch your great arrangements...ciao dall'Italia

  • Thank you :-)

From where are you in Italia ? I have good friends in Bologna and Valle d'Aosta.

  • Hi Jean,

Greetings from across the pond. Wow!, outstanding arrangement and playing on this standard.

  • Very nice, thank you :-)

Because çà parait difficile de faire sonner

Chapeau l'artiste ! *****

    A +. J.C.

  • Merci.
