As CL grows older I can definitely see her as a Korean Utada Hikaru, making it big in the States. She seems to be more focused and hungrier [for success] than the rest of the girls. They're all talented and hard working, but I'm pretty sure than in a couple years when 2NE1 is over, she'll still be successful. As you can see CL was working really hard on building work relationships with the people she met along like Jeremy Scott or Will.I.Am.

It may be selfish, but I think that K-pop has something special about it, something that nowhere else has. The culture of Korea is something special, and I think if the record companies try to amalgamate their culture with that of Western countries, it will loose what's special about it. K-pop has 2NE1 and Orange Caramel and for that to loose it's charm. Well, just look at Dr. Feelgood by Rania.

I can speak and understand spoken Korean and Mandarin but not read fluently (I take some time to go through Hangul text) because I learnt the languages through informal daily interaction (speaking to locals, learnt from friends). Some people can be articulate even though they're illiterate (like my grandma). I'm not saying that Dara is illiterate, but it could also be because she's not as fluent in English like Bom.
