There are only a couple real reasons someone wouldn't like GT, the other reasons they say are just bandwagon bullshit that they heard someone else post on a forum, with their eyes. SS4 wasn't a real SS transformation, it was an oozaru transformation combined with super saiyan. Some might say thats retarded, but then again so was majin buu and the fusion saga. I liked SS4, it was different, fresh, ORIGINAL. unlike SS2.

@dman1093 Another reason to not like GT is that its animation isn't as well funded as DBZ. But then again, the show wasn't about that so much as it was about the fighting and the storyline. Feeling for the characters. That's the real reason GT failed as a series. Not the plot or the fighting. But the character development (there was none) it was all fighting. The same fighting from dbz that we loved. Except, GT's fighting had inconsistent and illogical power levels. GTs failure is in super 17.

Toriyama ended the story with DBZ. 2) Most of the namek battles were fairly good. @michelrpg Goku had trained since the cell saga, obviously 7 years had passed, 50x stronger as a ss2 than as ss1 so goku was probably way more than 50x stronger at this point in GT than his base form. It's obvious goku isn't in his DB power level, but in his GT power level, which, in base form, is as strong as SS2 goku was in the buu saga.

They didnt even know tht they were Namekians until Vegeta nd Nappa told them.It is also obvious tht Piccolo had no clue about his previous form cuz he didnt kno of its power.We see this when Piccolo fuses with Nail.He says tht he had no clue of the power he wuld get from havin another namekian in him.Either way the show isnt meant to be looked at for how logical the characters actions are

Kami and piccolo knew exactly what their old forms did. they did not know they were namekians because the NN was sent to earth when he was a baby and grew up here. So of course he didnt know he was an alien. Piccolo never stated he didnt know the fusion would make him more powerful, he was just surprised to find out that him fusing with kami would make him THAT much more powerful.

Regardless, this isn't a plothole, it is just a lack of logic utilized by the characters. Also when dring the anime does it state that the dragonballs can be destroyed?
