POINTLESS. The rope isn't level and is pulling the front wheels of the crt up. every time the crt pulls it lifts them even higher. And the savage weights more so add even it up and add the same weight to the crt and it will drag that hump around all day.

get yourself a lockup diff kit for that buggy on the left and it will dominate everytime,

having a regular slip diff transfers all the power into the wheels that are spinning, in this case, the ones on the front with no traction

A lower hook up point on the crt may have helped + a torsen center diff. I'm not sure the crt was really spinning the back tires. Couldn't tell for sure. Awesome effort by the crt. Good video!

lol, I own both and believe me, the CRT is way stronger. Look at the position of the rope, the Savage has the advantage because its higher causing the front of the CRT to rise. Even with only two wheels driving,, the Savage is struggling. The Force .28 is a RTR engine to be reckoned with, the 4.6 is a .28 also, just not as powerfull as the Force.

That winter we killed a set of plastic arms on Savage, 2 engines (1 HPI 4.6, and 1 LRP Z.28R Spec 3), around 5 spur gears, but not clutches %) because it was cold (-25C) and lots of snow in Russia in winter.

I have an *RTR* T-Maxx and an *RTR* Savage .25, and I have taken them apart so many times, it might as well have been a kit. I had about 6 kits before those 2 trucks, and trust me, RTR is a great thing for people getting tired of building or are new to the hobby, and most people who buy these won't give a shit about racing.

For those who say CRT is better, lets see it go off a 30 ft. jump, land on it's roof, roll 15 times, and drive away. It can't! There is no possible way to compare these two trucks. First they aren't even the same class and second they were designed to do totally different things. CRT to race Savage to bash. Oh for the price of the CRT you could get a Savage and hop it up so it can hang with the CRT when racing. It couldn't beat it, but with the low gravity tvp, it becomes truggyish.

i own both savage and CRT. savage will NEVER "hang" with a CRT. there is about a 5 pound weight difference between the two (maybe more). the CRT is known at my local tracks for being one of the toughest trucks to race with. i think the CRT is the savage of the racing world of rc.
