  • Been looking for this version. I remember listening to this on 8-track tape. Not sure if it's the original version (sounds like it). Who's the soloist on this? Phew! She's won't ease up off the gas pedal, she's gunning it - As a matter of fact the entire song is moving like a plane during takeoff. Love it!!!

  • @jholyghosthead good informantion God bless :)

  • God Is Good

  • This goes all the way back to the early eighties. I first heard this song while stationed at Bitburg Air Base in Germany 82-84. The gospel choir was doing this song. Then while stationed at Minot AFB, ND 84-88, I joined their gospel choir. This was the first song at our choir practice. Brings back memories. I could still see our choir director, Mary Spring, smiling at us while singing this during church service. Wish I could go back to that simplier time of my youth.

  • yes he can WORK IT OUT

  • God bless us ALL. We are together in his praise and that's everything wrapped up under God's Will. Peace!

  • OMG!!! It's been years since I've heard this song! I remember my mom cleaning and dusting the living room while this song blasted through her entertainment system...I was just a child singing along in the middle of the living room shouting what I thought the choir was saying "pork chop!" LOL....I really did until mama laughed and corrected me...she said "JESUS WILL WORK IT OUT, WORK IT OUT!" Halleluiah!!

  • You can NOT beat tha hand clappin' on this song when the music pauses!

  • Now somebody tell me this! What is it about this song (and others like it) that makes ppl still want to sing this today and get results from singing it, as opposed to "singing" some of the latest stuff from today, and getting minimal results? Such a question!

  • I think the song came out in 1989 or 1990. The first time I heard it was in 1990 when I was dating my husband and I first got saved. I really connected with this song, and it means so much to me today. My God always causes me to triumph!

  • dIane williams led this, better lord, somebody prayed for me, jesus o' what a wonderful child and many, many more. she has to be the single most underated lead choir singer in the history of mankind. she sounds the same here in the 70's as she does on the 2005 remix. timeless.

  • i love this song!

  • love this song

  • Isaiah 54:1717No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. Plead the blood of JESUS and it works..BUT YOU MUST BE SAVED OR IT WILL NOT WORK, I DONT CARE WHAT NO ONE SAYS, PERIOD!

  • BE READY.....No one knows when, not even JESUS knows, so be READY...if you aint saved...GET SAVED! No one can see the KINGDOM OF GOD without accepting JESUS as your SAVIOUR...all those who dont will go to hell...SIMPLE. Like two people on a plane who get a note saying terrorists on plane, put on parachute. Some do it, some ignore thinking note fake...all of the sudden, terrorists force all out of plane 20000feet in air, who survives. JESUS is parachute, put HIM on, or fall to death in hell.

  • GOD worked it out for us this winter...My mom went home to be with LORD Aug. 09 We were staying with my mom helping her with her illness. She went home, and because of the extra room and my father needing some help, we were able to stay with my father this winter, especially helpful during not one but TWO snowstorms, one with 2 feet of snow...at our house cable and phone turned off...I got two teenagers, so you can imagine...GOD HAS BEEN SO FAITHFUL...JESUS CAN/DID/DOES WORK IT OUT!! HE'SCOMING

  • CAN SOMEONE POST THE REMIX, from the radio version? PLEEEEEASE? MAY GOD BLESS YOU FOR DOING SO, IN JESUS NAME!

  • One of my all time favorite songs

  • @essenceofgenius. Cosmopolitan Church of prayer choir recorded this song in 1980. They put it on the "collection cd" (greatest hits cd) in 1999. It first came out on the "Everything's Alright" album in 1980

  • @PeculiarPrayze It couldnt have been 1999 cuz the youth choir @my church used to rock this back in the 80's, we were known for this song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we had a reunion anniversary back in 2000 and it had been like almost ten years since we sang this at the time.

  • @PeculiarPrayze Nah, it's way older than that; I remember the late Martha Jean the Queen played this daily on her Gospel radio show. It may have come out around the same time as Keith Pringle's "Call Him Up" and that was 1981.

It's a great inspirational tune, thanks for posting it!

  • 1999?...no way! This came out back in 1975 i believe although I was born in 76...my mom use to sing in the church choir at First Union MBC She passed away in 1980 and they use to tear this up..I remember on the break-downs they use to stomp their feet and clap their hands and those tamborines use to just set it off I have lots of memories from the time i was 2...3 years old. This one one of those songs that when it started you KNEW a good 20 min plus shouting session would follow! Praise God

  • Yes @ArchAngelo7th! This is the original version and it had to be in the 70s sometime.

  • I believe you are correct. I listened to this when I was living in Chicago on "Purvis Spann the Blues Man's" all night show on WXOL. I remember the White Sox ad breaking in once right at the end. Might have been as early as '80. A great song and spiritually, it's right there! Thanks for posting, PeculiarPrayze!

  • @PeculiarPrayze this was late 1980s early 1990s

  • @PeculiarPrayze This was made a long time ago. My mom and our choir used to sing this when I was little. I'm 30yrs. old now so that should tell you something.
