Been looking for this version. I remember listening to this on 8-track tape. Not sure if it's the original version (sounds like it). Who's the soloist on this? Phew! She's won't ease up off the gas pedal, she's gunning it - As a matter of fact the entire song is moving like a plane during takeoff. Love it!!!
My dad The Late Rev Arthur Johnson Jr and the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church Mass Choir would set the Morning Worship service on fire. I miss my dad. Oh my God he could preach and sing this song.. Called A preachers Preacher. Thank you Lord for my Dad.
this is cosmo's original recording of it right here about 1980 or 81 but there were at least two other recordings of it by Rev Maceo woods and Christian Tabernacle choir! one was around 1974 and the other in the 70's as well! their min of music wrote the song Elder Jordan and it was really popular even then!
This goes all the way back to the early eighties. I first heard this song while stationed at Bitburg Air Base in Germany 82-84. The gospel choir was doing this song. Then while stationed at Minot AFB, ND 84-88, I joined their gospel choir. This was the first song at our choir practice. Brings back memories. I could still see our choir director, Mary Spring, smiling at us while singing this during church service. Wish I could go back to that simplier time of my youth.
OMG!!! It's been years since I've heard this song! I remember my mom cleaning and dusting the living room while this song blasted through her entertainment system...I was just a child singing along in the middle of the living room shouting what I thought the choir was saying "pork chop!" LOL....I really did until mama laughed and corrected me...she said "JESUS WILL WORK IT OUT, WORK IT OUT!" Halleluiah!!
After hurricane Katrina I had lost everything from a home to a car and everything I own. God made a way out of no way for me and I do have a testimony...Thankyou Lord!!!
@selimaazouri no actually this was a year ago and I wast evicted I was able to stay about 4 months for free God did work the situation out for me and I was blessed with a job. God Bless and I pray that God keeps you
Now somebody tell me this! What is it about this song (and others like it) that makes ppl still want to sing this today and get results from singing it, as opposed to "singing" some of the latest stuff from today, and getting minimal results? Such a question!
IKNO JESUS CAN WORK IT OUT THTZ Y I LUV HIM SO MUCH I TELL HIM ALL MY PROBLEMS N JESUS ALWAZ WORK IT OUT WIT ME THTZ Y I LUV THIS SONG SO MUCH THNK U LORD 4 BEENIN THERE WIT ME N 4 ME AMENNNN<3
I think the song came out in 1989 or 1990. The first time I heard it was in 1990 when I was dating my husband and I first got saved. I really connected with this song, and it means so much to me today. My God always causes me to triumph!
This song has me feeling like i'm still dancing even though my body has sat down. MY MY MY what a rush, no other song has made me feel like this. I FEEL LIGHTER THAN I HAVE IN A LONG TIME.
dIane williams led this, better lord, somebody prayed for me, jesus o' what a wonderful child and many, many more. she has to be the single most underated lead choir singer in the history of mankind. she sounds the same here in the 70's as she does on the 2005 remix. timeless.
Yes, Jesus will work it out. We just sang this song today to. I LOVE this song and Do You Know Him by Hezekiah Walker. You know these are REALLY GOOD songs if a 14 year old boy likes them.
Isaiah 54:1717No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. Plead the blood of JESUS and it works..BUT YOU MUST BE SAVED OR IT WILL NOT WORK, I DONT CARE WHAT NO ONE SAYS, PERIOD!
BE READY.....No one knows when, not even JESUS knows, so be READY...if you aint saved...GET SAVED! No one can see the KINGDOM OF GOD without accepting JESUS as your SAVIOUR...all those who dont will go to hell...SIMPLE. Like two people on a plane who get a note saying terrorists on plane, put on parachute. Some do it, some ignore thinking note fake...all of the sudden, terrorists force all out of plane 20000feet in air, who survives. JESUS is parachute, put HIM on, or fall to death in hell.
GOD worked it out for us this winter...My mom went home to be with LORD Aug. 09 We were staying with my mom helping her with her illness. She went home, and because of the extra room and my father needing some help, we were able to stay with my father this winter, especially helpful during not one but TWO snowstorms, one with 2 feet of snow...at our house cable and phone turned off...I got two teenagers, so you can imagine...GOD HAS BEEN SO FAITHFUL...JESUS CAN/DID/DOES WORK IT OUT!! HE'SCOMING
I used to listen to this version every morning while I got ready for school when I was a little boy. I always loved it then, but I have a much deeper understanding of the song now, and am truly greatful to look back on how blessed I was, and how blessed I am now.
I know God can work it out my rent is due and I don't have the money but I am faithful to God and his kingdom! I am gon keep on comin and keep on singin!
wow, 99? lol! come on now...listen real close...they dont make gospel music like this anymore and if you pay close attention you can listen to them stomp their feet on the ground to where it sound liek the floor about to cave in around 3:46 or something...thats the spirit moving in, lo
