@Deathtitan100 Their AMAZING guard dogs :) I have a Belgian mix and she's sweet but if someone comes up to the door she sounds and looks like she would kill you :) You don't really have to train them, they do it instinctively, but any dog would.

I'm not sure it's smart to ask this on a video of a Belgian Malinois (I figure everyone here likes Belgian Malinois the most), but can anyone tell me what would be a better dog, for just a pet, one that wouldn't require TOO much advanced training, a Malinois or a Tervuren?

@n1b3luNg They're almost the same dog aside from length of coat. Either breed will be fine for a pet just make sure you choose the right dog for you. Look for a submissive low energy Mal.

This is why i might go with shepherd mixes for guard/protection because unlike some other breeds they seem to know when to turn protection mode off for children and smaller pets...

Yeah, kitty kinda slutty (lol). loved the video very cute and I also love the Malinois. I loved how your dog showed a lot constraint, I was more concern for the dogs than the cat considering that cats love to scratch and on more than two occasions went for the face area.

What are you talking about??? I adopted a blegian malinois puppy on august 24th which was nearly 3 weeks ago. My puppy was only about 6 weeks and he wasnt old enough to bring home until the 10th.... once you adopt a dog there is no backing out so i already did have a dog. Why am i verifying my own words with a stranger???

I guess its because its quite an invasive and nosy stranger.
