  • Used to sit there with my grandfather in the '50s and early '60s. Just a grand place. Grew up in Clifton and Mt. Vernon area. VRE? Used to be Southern, RF and P, B and O, C and O, as well as Seaboard and Atlantic Coast Line. Grandfather could tell the different lines by their horns. ov10bronco1

  • Great footage - brought back good memories. That station is an excellent place to sit and watch trains go though, especially all the CSX freights.
