Naja ich hatte den auch mal bis mir die Sache mit dem Throttling-Problem auf den Keks ging und somit das Gerät wieder retour ging. Und der Support von Toshiba is unter aller Kanone. Stattdessen muss jetzt ein Samsung Series 7 Gamer incl ssd dran glauben XD . WTF is x 770 ? ;)

You should be very carefull with this one because i personnally have a problem with it and installing a new windows 7 on it while having it formated is a pain in the ass because all those features (including the wireless net card) need new drivers and i literally need a second pc to get them installed, it's basically not at all like the original win7 included on it. If somebody can help me, pls reply. PS: I have the non-3D version.

@ParagonXx9 From what I can see on their website you can not add 3D to custom built laptops. You have to buy a pre-built one.

They just released the new 3D version with even better specs than their first 3d version. The Toshiba Qosmio X775-3DV80.... Look it up. Specs are amazing. Im a girl, and I love the look of the laptop, but i can see why some people think it looks "cheap" I first saw it in the store, and will have to agree with the others... It looks amazing in person. And the front of the laptop, no biggie. Buy a laptop skin and cover it with whatever design you want! Getting the new 3dv80 SOON! :D

ahh they hiked it up in the back to resolve the notorious overheating issues with toshiba gaming laptops.my old x205 blew up.Fried videocard got it fixed just before the warranty ran out.cmon toshiba rather than just make better cooling they slap a big battery under it to make sure air circulates under it.this one looks really good not as cartoonish as the older models.

@TheMothaLovaBoy With the GTX 560M, it should run these games on full settings, but not games like Crysis or Metro 2033. However, I doubt that it would run Skyrim or Batman on max settings while in 3D mode, they should still be very playable while in 3D mode though. :)

Also ich hab seit 4 Jahren ein Toshiba Satego X200-21U und bin bis heute sowohl vom Support (Grafikkarte innerhalb der ersten zwei Jahre zweimal Defekt und kostenfrei ersetzt worden) als auch von der Verarbeitung begeistert. Denke mein nächstes wird auch wieder ein Toshiba oder Dell (insofern die bei der XPS Serie im Jahr 2012 endlich mal was gegen die Hitze und Lautstärke machen) sein. Freu mich schon auf den Test.

I actually purchased x770 through toshiba direct and got it two days ago and found out they did not install gtx 560m on it. Ending up with shipping it back to factory since I cannot settle down with "gaming laptop" with no dedicated graphic card.

I don't really care about the colors. And the design is mostly the same. The seperate buttons on the keyboard is an important feature to me, because my Asus has literally every single button next to each other and i often end up pressing 2 buttons at once. Also, aren't those tiny pin thingies at the bottom back meant to help bottom fans clear out the heat? So the bottom isn't actually touching the table?

I like the new design, but for anyone who's owned a Toshiba 17in models know they run hot. That is the only thing I hate about Toshiba laptops. The keyboard area usually gets hot, and don't even think about setting it on your actual lap. I wish they had better cooling solutions. I had to get a notebook cooler for my last Toshiba Qosmio just so my cpu and gpu wouldn't fry. I hope they improved on this one,. They put their cooling vents on the bottom, which is FAIL IMO.

@3Continues I don't have any problems moving my 18.4 qosmio around and I do prefer the bigger screen size.If your having problems moving the 18.4 qosmio around then its time to start lifting weights LOL.This looks cheaper too. Look at how he presses in the palm rest in at 0:58 . That definilty does not happen on my 18.4 qosmio.I prefer the all black and red trims as opposed to red and silver . Those don't go together .Those are just my preferences though.

Then I guess I'm one of the few people who think that the X770 Qosmio looks much better than the previous one. I mean, I really like this new look. I always thought that when you make the entire thing black, it's way too boring and insignificant. So don't be quick to judge it based only on its looks, because that's totally subjective.

This is definitly a step backward. The previous qosmio looks much better and has a bigger screen. Plus it appears that the gtx 560m is just a over clocked gtx 460m which is not a very big upgrade.

according to benchmarks, the gtx 560m is on average 13% faster than the previous gtx 460m according to notebookcheck, so I think it's a nice card... I think getting this kind of performance from a laptop is really nice

@wootz69 PLus the gpu they went with isn't the best. They should have had at least a gts 485m or a gtx 580m. If you look at the gtx 560m specs it is very similar to the gtx 460m with a more efficient architecture. The performance has increased over the gtx 460m but not by much when comparing real world performance.
