I don't care what anyone else says about Rose Mcgowen, I like her; She did a great job in Carmed, she's very beautiful and she has a spunky personality. I like her a lot better then Megan Fox. If I could choose between Rose and Megan, I would much rather have ROSE as Red Sonja.

Rose McGowen is athletic to say the least. Do you think Nielsen did her own stunts? Doubtful. McGowen is a smart and sexy actress and will bring a new feel to the beloved character. This of course assumes that her injuries allow her to continue filming but I for one am looking forward to it.

I think it is unfortunate that they picked Rose McGowan. Her physique isnt believable in a physically demanding role. Out of fulltime actresses, Jessica Biel or Rhona Mitra are ideal. They have a perfect balance of muscularity to make them believable in tough action sequences, and yet enough soft curves to make a man's jaw drop. From fitness models it would be between Timea Majorova, Valerie Waugaman, or Torrie Wilson. Those three, in my opinion, represent the epitome of strength and beauty.

I think Rose can kick ass in anything. I admire her for escaping the children of god cult when she was a kid but I certainly hear your point.... I don't think these stars should be doing ALL their own stunts...I heard on the news she had to have part of her wrist and elbow removed from a stunt injury today....that's really sad I think.

You know, I've got my prejudices and I strive to see the light and I don't know the logic of movie making Hollywood, I still think the sword and sandals genre went the way of the cowboys and Indians losing it's captivation through the years, now more women seem to be getting more lead roles.
