Price depends a lot on what country you are located. They are not even available, at least for now, in the US. Hopefully this will change very soon! There are several models and and options. I've had mine for three years so not sure what new models cost. Search Celier Aviation and visit their site. You should be able to find answers to all your questions.
This is Lake Cumberland in Somerset, KY. The dam, some 40 miles away, is being repaired and the water level has been dropped approx. 40 ft. The main portion of the lake is still very much useable. This is on a small tributary.
@superjezz This is part of Lake Cumberland in Somerset, KY. There is extensive work being done to repair Wolf Creek Dam some 40 miles west. The Corp of Engineers lowered the water level approx. 40 ft. It will stay this way for another 3-5 years.
As a kid i always loved like all that plane stuff, this looks so cool, i mean im only 15, but this is something I would love to have when Im older, im guessing you need a pilot license, but im just wondering, do you travel far with the copter, or just within your airfield location? I could imagine there are travel limitations/restrictions, anyway looks mad fun
If you have the correct avionics, and I do, there are no travel restrictions whatsoever. I can fly into any airspace and land at any airport any other aircraft can. I have traveled a few hundred miles but mostly fly it locally. I have a plane I use for traveling. My gyro does require a license. And yes it is mad fun!
Thanks for the comment. This was totally unplanned. My son and I was flying and I noticed the digital camera laying in the floor. I told him to put it in movie mode and turn it on. That's it!
Cruise is approx. 80-85 knots. Range is approx. 225 miles on a full tank with reserve. The engine is a Rotax 914! Thanks for your comment this aircraft is a pure joy to fly.
@mdavidmorris Hello Iwas wanting some info on these gyros can't seam to find any one to help me . I want to try to get all the info that I can cause I want to fly . any info would be great thanks ...
Beautiful! What kind of range & Knots Per Gallon do you get with that engine / copter combo on an average day (say ~10 to 15 mph winds)??? Beautiful country to fly in!
To fly a single place machine over 254 pounds you need a sport pilots license or gyro rating. To legally fly two people in a two place machine you need a gyro rating.
then i bet you know dave phelps n all the boy's at the college. lol i fly models with him. wow. this was shocking to come across. pretty sweet aircraft. amazing!!
@mdavidmorris Greetings! Using Google Earth and terrain association, isn't the bridge that you flew over the Louie B. Nunn - Cumberland Parkway Bridge located at
37° 5'50.85"N 84°41'31.31"W ? I was following every turn you made from beginning to end and it matches the map. I was just curious. The video starts about 1 mile upstream from the bridge and ends 3.5 miles down stream when you climbed out. I loved the video. My in-laws lived on Garland Bend for years. Thank you for the video.
@wingzofsteel I agree mate. This dude is living my dream. Wish I had 60k to buy one of these aircraft... and get trained , and pay for the maintenance costs and have a paddock big enough at my house to take off and land. I hope to fly to fly to Italy from the UK one day over the Alps... dreaming on!
Gee this is awesome. I am saveing money for a license. I wanted to find a place to rent the MT-03 when i am done. The Xenon looks a lot more comfortable. Hope to finde that one around. Great video, i like it a lot. Thanks for sharing.
The red signal is tied in with the GPS and the altimeter alerting the pilot to climb -- or you will hit the ground! ...which you can see shortly after that came on, the pilot started climbing. This is very common to see when flying close to the ground as this video shows.
Your explanation sounds good but thats not whats happening. I have a Rotax 914 and when your RPM goes above 5500 the red light comes on. You can safely operate between 5500 and 5800 RPM's for 5 minutes. I increased RPM to climb and the light came on.
Thanks for your comments. Hope you enjoyed the video.
Ah! That's very cool that it reports that way. That's a great video! I fly helicopters recreationally and have a similar alert on the helos I fly - but its only tied to ground incursion. I have been getting interested in Gyros -- haven't flown one yet, but seem to have the same qualities of flying a helicopter but with the excessive cost, and I never hover OGE anyways - not in Colorado at least!. Would love to learn more about your experience with your Xenon & Gyroplanes. Thanks!
Not sure where in CO. you are from but there are two Xenons in the Denver area. I am a very active fixed wing pilot but nothing compares to the fun I have flying gyros. If you have further questions or comments feel free to leave your e-mail address.

What is the red signal light in cockpit on 2:56. It happens as you open the throttle, right?
