She saying that all foulanies are foulanies whether they are from Senegal,Niger Mali, Nigeria(Sokoto), Cameroun, RCA, Burkina Faso ect... She is asking that God keeps all fulanies spirit together. Amen!
@Jallo101 correct Jallo, but what Djiallo mean to say is that in Nigeria, Niger, Cameroun, Chad, Sudan the dialect is the same or very similar. It is easy for someone from Nigeria or Cameroun to understand this. But someone from Senegal or Mauritania may have hard time.
@VraiDiouf true especially for fulbhe born & raised in towns & cities they may find some fulfulde dialects hard to understand as opposed to fulbhe born in fulbhe villages with little or no outside influence as it in my case i understand almost all that she is saying!!!
tai woni fulbhe nyajobhe...nyajanyobhe sudu inna(/dada/nene/yumma-mother)/sudu baba...fulbhe rimbhe eh rimaybhe(noble fulbhe)...pullo fo na pullo(pullo fof ko pullo)...fulfulde duna goto(fulfulde fof ko goto/gotum)..
@laluwayye Yes, my sister you are right. I am very proud of you. In village though, the language is where it is most pure because of less interaction with outside language (not saying it is a bad thing for interaction with outside language) but that is what our City Fula brothers and sisters are exposed to.
@VraiDiouf ...mi noddi'on hannde...ahaii fulbhe ketine(hetine/jengtode for futa jallon)...mitden njewtano'on(yechcha no'on/yewtana'on/halana'on)....on and on...i like it when thy say 'kori jam' we say that often and sometimes 'eeee jam' which is common in futa toro
Great video and superb music. Thanks for posting this. The Fulfulde spoken in the video is the Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad or Sudan version/dialect. Makes me real proud to be part of this cultural heritage. Keep it up - projecting positive stories and images of Africa and Africans.
