but isn`t it quite poetic that A just gets this thougts in such a moment? actually i suspected another interpretation of this monologue, too but the longer i think about it the more i like it. i`ve never heard something more beautiful like this monologue, i read it every day
well, im a bit disappointed that A's monologue, his really 'big' one... takes plce in a toilet. But well done Germans, all in all a good adaptation. and the poster behind A is cool.
I think it suits really - Sarah Kane wasn't really wrapped up in the cliche, and she dealt with love and what not in very stark ways. I think the fact that it's on the toilet shows that it's all part of being human. And there's also the fact that many people have epiphanies on the toilet =p
Yeah, at first i'd admit it was distracting, but then when i got over it, it worked pretty well.
