I mean like just go around taking pictures of all the survivors without saving them and just answer the calls. also do i have to trigger everything for all the needed calls to come?

and talked to isabella. she figured out the password, and the jamming device got fucked up. after like 40 seconds or some shit, jessie called me and said that "the HQ decided to ignore us" and that they are sending a cleanup thinqy or some shit like that. after i got that cutscene, i went to the security room, (where jessie and the soldiers where at.) It's for the same reason no one uses the excavator. If you're actually pursuing the main plotline or trying to rescue survivors, those are both fairly useless; they're only good for dicking around.

they make the weapon last longer. carrying certain books allows you to use weapons for an extended period of time. so a constuction book would make the chainsaw he has last longer, but the construction book and an entertainment magazine (because the chainsaw is meant for juggling) it would make it last Really long.

They represent the 3 books he has to add bonuses to the item one of them makes the chainsaw last 3 times as long and so does another so it lasts 6 times as long.

no the books are entertainment x3 and engineering x3 and criminal biography x3

it counts it like this 3x3=9  9x3=27 so ull have 27 chainsaws all in one! XD i love it!

I guess Jessie lost her will to live when she is apparently betrayed by the government she dedicated her life to. Her broken spirit could have contributed to the speed of her zombie infection. Although the DHS managed to put out a word for her rescue, it was already too late. In a sense, her zombification is vengeance against the irresponsible government that she believed had betrayed her.

Brad becomes a zombie too, he is found in the Maintenance Tunnel after you complete Case 7-2. Take a photo of him in his zombie state to get the achievement "Snuff Shot B"

I don't think he took the survivors. The soldiers took them away, to either be executed, brainwashed, debriefed, whatever. But Otis got out of the security room before they got there, and being the badass he is, stole a helicopter, probably killing soldiers in the process
