I love Toyotas for many years, and I'm still loving and driving a Toyota Tacoma. I don't believe that Toyotas are bad ass trucks. I think the worse truck is the Nissan Frontier, I wouldn't buy one ever. The interior inside a Nissan is actually pretty narrow, I feel like I'll be squeezed if I took my friends over for a ride and stuff. I know because ive worked at a GM assembly plant for 6 years maintaining assembly robots

Tacoma's are Japan. FYI, Tundra's are more American than Chevy's (which most are made and assemble in Mexico). You probably didn't know that did you? All trucks are good trucks. @redFarmallboy Plain and simple - all truck has a bed, has a more than average-sized engine, is able to tow and haul stuff; therefore, every truck is able to do what its design to, so they are good trucks. I care less about the specs. I don't need to know how much HP it has, what color the Limited Edition comes in, which rims looks best on it, whether it comes in 12 wheel drive or not. At the end, the average person does NOT lug around a semi-truck, so your "huge difference" does not apply.

@MaPee1982 sorry son but what you rode isnt necessarily true either. some GM plastic interior panels are manufactured in mexico but the silverados sold in the US are assembled and mostly made in the US... Plastic interior panels, plastic underhood panels, sheetmetal panels for the Tundra are made in mexico, canada, and the US. But Chevy trucks are infact more American made than Tundra. I know because ive worked at a GM assembly plant for 6 years maintaining assembly robots

Trucks are made to work, they're our mules, The tundra doesn't impress me because i don't thing its durable, what i mean is Chevy Dodge and Ford been making WORK trucks before i was born. You don't see a Tundra plowing a foot of snow in a parking lot, you see Chevy Dodge and Ford i have a Boss 7' 6" power v plow on my 08 f150 1/2 ton i had it for 3 yrs with a plow and still running strong and its my daily driver. Tundra hasn't proven its self.

Every Tundra has either been built in Texas or Princeton, Indiana since the model debuted in 2000…the F150, Chevy, GM trucks, and Ram have all been built in Mexico at one point or another over the last 10 years. And contain less that 60% domestic parts. How much more American can you get when even companies who claim to be American outsource to Mexico or Canada?

@TheAtlanticstarr every ford i have had i ve had over 200k with minimum problems. My recent ford 06 f150 has 90k and only problem so far was the 4x4 vacuum valve. Wifes explorer 130k only problem was wheel bearings, runs like brand new

@TheAtlanticstarr my dad has a 1990 chevy 1500 and it has over 200k mile on it. my grandfather just bought a 2007 silverado 2500 with 55k miles on it. both drive like new. my dads has basic repairs that are inevidably going to wear out, like a few belts, sparkplugs, etc. ill stick with chevy. thanks. (oh and im not even close to a redneck)
