he is dead and with all the blows he takes aswell like at the end of part 3 he gets hit with the axe in the head and the slice mask is in all the rest and part 6 when tommy uses the boat propellor on his face at the end

He wasn't dead in parts 2-4. He was grey in part 4 because he was dying, but he was very much alive in the first four films.
