do you think it's a smart decision to install seymour duncans sh-6 bridge and sh-2 neck pickup to this guitar?i mean,stock pups are very good,but i am considering upgrading theese two. what do u think?

well ive never tried the sh's so i cant honestly tell you. i suggest try em and if you dont like em take em out. of course thats not very money wise. but sacrifices must be made for tone.

what do you think would be 'better' out of your H-251FM or an LTD viper 400?

Ive never played the viper-400 but, if i were to go off the specs id say that the viper-400 is higher quality. Can anyone elaberate?

well the H-251FM looks/fels nicer imo. plus its made in indonesia as opposed to china. that usually makes for better crftsmanship right? though the iper has EMg's thats about all it has over yours.. id just like your opinion really. i have a choice of the two, and the viper is on special :P

what i can tell you is that i love this guitar. Its my favorite, ive used it at shows and in the studio. its very versitile too. Also i dont like emgs at least the actives.

theyre esp's version of the emg passives. personally i think they sound better than the hz series

you can coil tap pretty much any pickup but guitars dont usually come with coil tapped emgs

EmG makes a coil tap the 81/85tw i believe. but those pups are active. correct me if anyone knows.

its accurate except the neck pickup is an 89 which is comprised of 2 emg SA's which in turn give you an 85 sound in the humbucker mode
