Really? Sure, True Magic was weak, but I thought The Ecstatic was brilliant. Not all the tracks quite worked but he certainly made it artistically edgy and inventive rather than just playing it safe and phoning it in like his previous album.

The overall mix is outstanding but there is a little eff up in opinion. I think at about 2:03 the beat and vocals are off by a second but they catch up by the end of the song. It's just me being nit-picky but it does sound like scratching chalkboard to this masterpiece.
