Dr. Nicolosi is right in his book that most only become bisexual - he never says that it only takes five years for most or that even after 40 years of effort anything more than bisexuality is achieved by most. Working to change is a path of healing not always complete reorientation

It is not the nature of heterosexuality to be promiscuous; the balance of maleness w/ femaleness minimizes/prevents that. Men are driven by their physical attractions, so 2 men together, they are going to be more promiscuos. Women are more about emotion. Two women are more prone for emotional enmeshment, and that is why lesbian couples have the highest rates of domestic abuse/violence.
