the fact is, if we are all honest, the mythology should be called "Pelasgian Mythology" that was documented by an emergent hybrid culture that employed the Phoenician Script. it is also the case that much of the foundation in greece is related to progress made over millennia in Egypt and as a result of Bronze Age progress in making more complex materials and tools (something the Illyrians and others contributed), the new culture was able to take humankind an extraordinary step further. period.

Tsamika are existing in different variations and in many ethnic groups. Greeks, Vlachs and Southern albanians have in many occasions very similar music but with different lyrics.

Albanians are mostly Illyrians & Thracians, Romanians are also from the same origin in the past though there are some distinctions and they developed another identity Dacian, very closely linked with Thracians and Illyrians. Tsamika are existing in different variations and in many ethnic groups. Greeks, Vlachs and Southern albanians have in many occasions very similar music but with different lyrics.
The area of chameria was inhabited by ethnic Greeks, Vlachs and Albanians - The difference is that albanians commited war crimes in the 2 WW and also before and were judged because they helped Nazis, burned greek villages and killed Greeks and Vlachs during WW2.

The "link" between Albanians and Chams is a fact, not a link. With all the pressure from Turks, Slavs, Latins and Greeks to assimilate the Illyrians, anyone who is left speaking Albanian in 2009 is a true Albanian. (that includes Arvanites of course)
remember there were no schools in Albanian during the Ottoman time, the language was banned. orthodox christians learned Greek and muslims learned Turkish, that was the Law.
that means it is nearly miraculous that anyone still speaks Albanian.

your country has at least 50% Albanian ancestry today, since the Arvanites were Albanian Christians that migrated all around Greece during the middle ages, invited by Byzantine Emperors, many of whom were Illyrian, such as Constantine and Justinian.
