dsi and mfb have more possibilities, i just testet them, but i love the way the mochika is made :)

@Goth108 The biggest downside for the MFB is that it is 100% DIGITAL OSCILLATORS!
WTF! The oscillator sounds are coming from a central processor that sends digital information to a DAC. Turns out it's a fairly powerful Fujitsu F2MC 16 bit MB90F497G microcontroller with 128kB of ROM and 4kB of RAM, as well as a nice complement of built in A/D. This is why I'll never buy one. Very cheap imitations of an analog synth. I'd rather save the dough and get an Evolver or even a Mochika any day.

@Goth108 Thanks. It is what it is... the Mochika is much more limited in functionality than most of the boxes from DSI or MFB, but if you're OK with the limitations its a lot of fun. It definitely has a charm all its own. My main gripe with it- the lack of midi sync- was solved with the Mochika2. Good luck deciding!

this seams like the ultimate Sequencer for me... and I'm very lucky it's so cheap. I like that raw sound of it, seams good for Industry and new wave music.

The Mochika is made by Atomosynth in Peru. So far, I've only seen them for sale on ebay (search for "Atomo" and "sequencer"). Youtube's not letting me post a link, but if you google "Atomosynth", the first result is the page for the manufacturer.

Same thing happened to me for your message. Try using the "Click here to go directly to this message" link that youtube provides in the "new message" notification email. It's the only way I was able to read yours. Otherwise, it just kept saying that my inbox was empty (?)...
