Numarks turntable direct drive belts weaken after couple of years of scratching/beat juggling on them. Both of my Numarks' belts are weakened and wont spin around correctly anymore.
i was seriously considering getting 2 of these with a shitty mixer and speakers, but no one sells vinyl in my area, so i got 2 CDXs and a good mixer/speaker
You can also easily mix from CD to vinyl on one deck but not the other way around. It's possible, but you can't use the pitch fader for the CD without changing the speed of the record as well, so you'd have to just cut to the CD or pick a song with a close enough BPM to mix into.
Comparing this to the CDX, the X2 is basically the same from a CD standpoint only has less looping features (e.g. no Smart Loop.) From a vinyl standpoint, it's good & solid, but more features are available on other vinyl-only decks. (I switched to these from STR8-150s taking a bit of a hit in features (no 78RPM, no vinyl key lock, no digital out.))
What was the MSRP for this turntable? I would assume it's four times the price of the TTX.

These are not belt driven. Thats why they have a such a high torq rating :)

This is the suckiest dj-equipement ever made! There has been absolutely no quality standars when they made these.

thats belt drive mate, not direct. the direct's loose torque with age but not as bad as belts... try doubling your belts
