wait, is that... Nevermind. I thought it was Mr. Gibbs from POTC, but i change my mind, it wasn't him. If it'd been him, i'd recognize the voice and the facial-hair(wich isn't a moustasche(sp?)
@DataGirl3 The British were systematically occupying their lands and stealing massive amounts of wealth. The Mughal Empire was very weak and in decline during that time and it began under Aurangzeb, because he had all of those corrupt Nawabs to rule the distant parts of the Empire. The only man who stood up against the massive force of the Colonial British was Tipu Sultan.
What's the point of locking the door when they've already established that he can climb in and out of windows?

So did the merchants simply not like the English army or something? I've always wondered why they were simply willing to help Mowgli escape.

@DataGirl3 would you like it if I came into your house and took over, set up camp and told you how to live.

@DataGirl3 It's my understanding that there were very few in India who did not hate the English.

@PapagenoJuan2
actually Jason Scott Lee, who plays Mowgli in this movie, did actually play Aladdin in a TV Movie. I think it was a few years after the Jungle Book.
Funny how he's half Hawaiian half Chinese and yet he can play an Indian or a Middle Eastern lol
