Nevertheless,with all the last games NCsoft have released,i have no belief in Guild Wars 2 whatsoever,never really liked Asian games,and none of them has ever been made even for entry level UE/US population,sure you'll find some geeky yank or European who fancy's manga so much that he'd be ready to do plastic surgery,but that is a rare case,most of us hate Asian themes,and farming.
If you look around major gaming sites,you'll notice that most of their titles don't even get released over here,simply because of the fact that player base from states and Europe prefer different things over those that are being put on the table by companys as NCsoft and other mainly Asian-based game developers.
I think that is the major reason why L2 Aion GW2 possibly and every other game released from them never really got enough of a kick to be worthwhile.
Here's the thing though, Guild Wars 2 is NOT Asian-based. It's created by ArenaNet (which is under NCSoft) here in Seattle, Washington and if you look at the gameplay, listen to voices of the characters, the NPCs, et cetera, nothing is Asian-based at all.
i have played wow for 4 years and i have got bored... I have always been Healer and Caster...and have never been able to defeat a rogue... (i have defeated all the other classes :S)

assassins are very good in pvp, true, but templars clerics and sorcerers (as well as the others) are often more powerful when used correctly, not to mention it's fairly balanced compared to the average MMO and is going to be primarily massive random pvp, further eliminating balance issues.

The customization is outstanding, armor sets have the dyeing feature, so you don't *have* to have the exact same look as someone else,I can't imagine there'll be any problem making your character look Badass.
No doubt this is a great game, I played the beta for a bit and it felt smooth which was a quality severely lacking in other games I played including AoC and GW etc. So many people compare things to WoW since WoW is the game to beat, in my experience anyone who doesnt like WoW havent truly played it or refuses to because its too popular. It was a great game, Im tired of wow personally and am really looking forward to this refreshing game.

I bet if everyone was new to the game and there were no add-ons, you would not think WOW was getting easy. Its only easier because people have been playing for a while so they are skilled. Then there are noobs with add-ons (and bought gold) that can play as well as a person thats been playing for years. Everyone levels fast and poof easier game. No challenge. Try a boss fight with no add-ons like we used to do back in the day.
WoW is still easy regardless of addOns being used and the raids were much harder back in vanilla nice try though the point is people want to move on and try something new

Blizzard got more than 16.000.000 active subscribers,and the number was growing up till cataclysm.
Aion got more players on private servers than retail.
