  • That last statement should have read 1+1+1=1 =-P

  • The JW's are not thee only sect that suffer from this malady, despite the excommunication, which all churches practice in their own way, the more important aspect to this inablilty to move on is because the further steeped in a belief that a person goes, the further they are shaping and molding themselves.

This is as much true of trinitarians who believe in 1+1+1=3 as it is with JW's who try to understand what is spiritual by carnal means.

Both are victims to falsely devised dogmas.

  • @cokepepsi1223. You're all over this video, like you're the police or something, attacking & posting to everyone.that doesn't agree with your cult, the Jehova Witnesses. That's the way you people 'roll'. You're pushie, can't think for yourselves, constantlhy twisting things & all the while, people like myself are constanly "Owning" you! You're totally cluless!

  • @IamNeutral You have yet to "own" me dude. I know exactly what I'm saying. You sound like the one who's confused....And that's why you have to keep making references to "you people". If you take issue with something I said then why don't you talk about that instead of regurgitating the opinion of someone else or your own opinion which you obviously are holding out of pure ignorance.

  • @IamNeutral And if you don't like Witnesses then get over it and just don't become one. We're not going anywhere....

  • Comment removed

  • Bottom line, Jehova Witnesses are EnablerS & an Ideal Breeding GroundS for PhedophileS!!!!

  • You defo got thrown out for cock sucking hahaha

  • They can't? I managed, maybe they are just making excuses.... I'm glad i grew up in a JW family, gave me strength to deal with opposition and good morals, i must have skipped the shall not kill part seeing as i joined the forces.. But really.. can't move on.. Get a grip!

  • I found it really helpful, even during my time in the kingdom hall,to listen to iron maiden,Black Sabbath, led zeppelin and Judas priest. And some others too,t really cleared up the inequities of man and the difference between good and bad. There's a lot of garbage out there,so you have to be careful but all ways go back to the basics. keep that in mind.

  • kidnap? what are you retared! please get help cause anyone with an IQ higher then 50 knows your lying

  • @lickmycookieful you jws give us a good reason to hate your cult even more. You treat your members like shit when they smell shit from the Watchtower's ass. While that issue is going, you guys are on our doors steps smiling and clapping. What a bunches deceiving jackasses you all are.

  • @WripRoss hahaha, who said i was a JW? did you even read my YT channel! take a long look at yourself troll! and stop smelling peoples ass's weirdo, the only jackass here is you and Oh I cant forget about VanCoffe, she just as deranged as you!

  • @lickmycookieful lmao are you contradicting yourself? You re not looking good here. Jw or not, you are an ass sniffer. That is why I came for you. Do you like what these assholes are doing ? They are going to people homes to destroy their lives. It wont be long until this religion get your house or family member. You re jackass lmao

  • @WripRoss Hahaha, Your the one always talking about smelling shit! so that makes you an ass sniffer! I'll tell the truth i bury my face in a women ass from time to time, it's fun and they love it, Oh I'm Bio, if you cant tell, and they do come by my home and they know i'm bio i told them and always stop by anyways, they never tell me that i'm going to burn in hell or that God is going to punish, unlike the JACKASSIES YOU SUPPORT!

  • @lickmycookieful they came say Hi, and ask how i'm doing talk alitle then they leave, their kind people unlike so many asshole i met on a daily basis, thats one of the reasons i like them, the 2nd is the momment my neirgboe started study the bible with them he wne t from being a jerk and a drug dealer to the nicest person you'll ever met!

  • @lickmycookieful lol jws are against bios. People would are nice can also hurt you .

  • @WripRoss THe bible it self is against who I am, but aleast they talk to me like a person, and not like a fucking animal! thats what Your church does, all them do. so save it, because Jesus Never spoke to anyone the way the churchs do today

  • @lickmycookieful Homosexually do not work with jws, those people don’t even know even know what homosexually is. They are talking to you because they are trying to mold you. That is why I don’t believe in organized religion.

  • @WripRoss Dont even know even know what homosexually is? what are you 12? thats a stupid comments! don’t believe in organized religion? then you'll NEVER see the kingdom of God! i may be Gay, but even i know that

  • @lickmycookieful I'm a decade older than 12 but you do sound like a 12 year old for being so ironic. Organized religion? Didn't you say that Jesus didn't talk to men of our days? There's no homosexually in God's Kingdom. Homosexually was practiced in this religion. It's in their old books. It looks like you need brush up on this religion's history and the Bible too.

  • @WripRoss no i read your comment perfectly clear...you're vague reference to "their old books" doesn't suffice as part of a logical argument. how about you cite a source instead of a useless (most likely invalid) reference...?

  • @cokepepsi1223 The Millions now living will never die. The Finished Mystery, A helping Hand For Bible Students, and the Government Book,These books are inappropriate, they are homo, and they are insult to Jesus.

  • @WripRoss page numbers...??? direct quotations...?? anything substantial...??...and "they're homo?"...eloquent argument

  • @cokepepsi1223 Here is a link because I don't have these book. I saw these books in this video.

    watch?v=Ca6MzSx36yE

  • @WripRoss nope. if you're the one quoting something you should have access to the source. I don't wanna watch another ridiculously apostate video. send books and page numbers or else im not interested in a conversation with no source

  • @cokepepsi1223 How can I get my hands on these books? I'm not a jw, you are. These books belong to you because they are in the watchtower's name. en wikipedia org/wiki/List_of_Watch_Tower_Society_publications Ridiculously Apostate video ? That's means you are an Apostate too. He talking about your books you silly person lol.

  • @WripRoss What I'm saying is you are making an argument about a book you've never even touched much less read...That's the point. When you actually read the books you can make an informed decision, not just follow what someone else (who's not even a witness) says...

  • @WripRoss And can you be specific...I'm lying about what?? I'd like to have a cohesive conversation but you're making it realllllllly hard. And its just because they talk about the books doesn't mean they're a witness

  • @WripRoss and you said you "know JWs a little too well" so obviously you know one. get it from them...

  • @cokepepsi1223 I know Jws a little too well. Because you are lying again.

  • @lickmycookieful I'm calling you a suck up in figurative language. lol I'm not calling you a bio or a weirdo. Jws are jackasses because they only see in black and white. They don't care about individual surfaces, and their problems and needs. If you don't begin to think like them then you will be in a world of isolation by yourself.

  • @WripRoss So it's better for them to be asshole and jackass like the rest of the world! you know like the catholic and chrtains who claim to believe in GOd and yet they break ever bible law? please !

  • @lickmycookieful It’s better for them to be assholes and jackasses. Only they can be these people. You cannot question them on their hypocrisy. If you do, they don’t ever have time to talk about it.

  • @WripRoss guess you missed the fact that hes not a JW, huh? might wanna delete this comment. doesn't make people think too well of you...

  • @cokepepsi1223 But look again, you've missed the entire point in my second comment and that person is a she. Some people like I do know jws a little too well.

  • prople dig a ditch and keep digging till its to L8 to bad shouldv looked ahead of whats in front

  • Great video. Jehovahs Witnesses like Mormons is a cult mind control organization, that makes men (& women) feel like they owe total allegiance 2 the men leading their religions Jeremiah 17:5 says that puts us under a curse. Jesus declared Himself 2B the only way 2 heaven John 14:6. God declares explicitly that there is no Savior besides Him Isaiah 43:10,11. The New Testament explicitly teaches that Jesus is God Who entered into human flesh Philippians 2:5-11 John 1:1-3,14 in any real translation

  • @1stcorinthians1vrs18 look at your own frist before making stupid comments! learn before you preach

  • I...I just...I don't get how something so blatantly condescending as the concept of this church can be such a time consuming topic...I mean, it has already eaten up your youth, why do you waste breaths on it? It just lends more energy to its power over you...plus its teeming with closet pederasts and fags, considering it's supposed to be a haven from 'the world', smh while lmao

  • everyone is looking for the truth, but i found the truth in islam and the quran

  • @ogilby5 There is no truth in islam or the quran. Jesus is the truth John 14:6 & the only God and Savior Isaiah 43:10,11 John 3:18,36. In eternity, every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that He is Lord Philippians 2:5-11. Truth can be carefully examined, questioned ans scrutinized & it will still be Truth. Islam, Mormonism, Jehovahs Witnesses and any other man made religion will fall apart if carefully examined & scrutinized. Only the Bible is historically & prophetically accurate.

  • Look, JW's don't truly hold to a "no blood" stance anymore. Their rules have been evolving since 1979 to include almost all kinds of fractions. From where do those fractions come, exactly? From someone else's blood! So there is no "abstaining from blood" when blood fractions are allowed.

  • @cooper79jeffr Can you make a pancake without flower, water, eggs or milk? Each ingredient can be used separately for an entirely different purpose. That being said, blood has specific components that make it BLOOD. When separated those different components can be used to improve an individuals health. This is a conscious matter, if you feel that you'd be judged for consuming a blood fraction, that's between you and God. My decision may be different. Let each one carry his own torture stake lol.

  • @ohhJetSetta -I totally agree it's a personal decision. I don't believe a religious organization should be meddling in life-and-death medical decisions, to the point of possibly cutting off a person who disagrees with their viewpoint.

As I mentioned, I still don't see how the Watchtower can say blood fractions are now okay when they banned them before 1979, and yet say that you can take fractions and still be abstaining from blood. I don't see what principle is being upheld with that stance.

  • @cooper79jeffr 1st Blood fractions weren't banned because it is a relatively new technology that wasn't around in the 70's. You have red cells, white cells, platelets and plasma. None of those components are blood. Together they make up blood, but they are still separate in their own right. To explain, let blood = a car. You have a bad tire. Do you buy a new car, or do you replace the tire. Is replacing the tire the same as buying a new car? No. So adding plasma, isn't the same as taking blood.

  • @ohhJetSetta - A tire is part of a car. Its main function is only when it is on the car. What use would buying a tire be unless you were going to have a car with it? If you buy a tire you aren't really abstaining from cars.

Sorry I still don't see how taking fractions is "abstaining" from blood. It's a picky rule set up by the WT Society which strains out the gnat (their interpretation of a verse in Acts) and gulps down a camel (the sanctity of life itself). Their rule-making is Pharisaic.

  • Watchtower-style shunning has resulted in some JW parents shunning kids for decades, and JW children their parents as well. Judicial Committees have forced countless women, men and kids to give details about things such as types of marital intimacies etc etc.

1 Peter 4:15 says, "Let none of you suffer as a murderer or a thief or an evildoer or as a busybody in other people’s matters."

So Watchtower and its Judicial Committees who meddle as busybodies are no better than murderers and thieves.

  • I believe that many witnesses belong to Jehovah and they are deceived like I was. Anyone who gives a date and that date does not come true is a false prophet. Jehovah will bring his people out of the organization on his time. The society keeps apologizing and keeps saying a new light has come. No matter how many apologies and no matter how many times they say a new light has come, Deuteronomy 18:20-22 will never be outdated.

  • @claudereid2007

You said the Society apologized. They have never done that and probably never will, for in that case they wouldn't be "God's only Channel on the Earth in Our Days" [their statement]. The closest to an apology ever was a feeble admittance that they went to far in their speculations about 1975, that was in the 1980 Yearbook.

Quote me a single instance in the Watchtower magazine where they say "we were wrong", just that, and I shall believe you.

    Now prove yourself.

  • Jehovah Did not Dis fellowship us. The organization did and after many years of being dis..., I can now say it truly is a blessing from Jehovah. When all your family having nothing to do with and all you can do is rely on Jehovah for strength and comforting. It really makes you stronger spiritually, mentally and emotionally. You see those people for who they really are and they are nothing like our father Jehovah. No one is Like him......I belong to Jehovah, not to an earthly org

  • @claudereid2007

I don't know why you were disfellowshipped, but can I ask you, Why do you speak of an "organization".

    Is Christianity an "organization"?

    Where do you read that?

True Christianity is described as a temple: "God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple." 1 Cor 3:17.

It doesn't say the Watchtower Society.

You don't have a monopoly on who is a Christian and who is not.

    Please re-read.

  • @yaxpax1 what makes you think they are telling the truth ? Have you done your research ? The watchtower society lies to their people, gives them false hopes, and will be the reason they will spend eternity in Gehenna.....

  • @Jesransam If god can read hearts then there is no reason for you to criticize the JWs. If they are "being mislead" as you claim, then the genuine hearted ones who love god will be remembered by god and cared for. save your breath

  • you know dudes here dont really care for what you have to say, they all just pretend to care because you're good looking. i know most think you're an airhead. no one cares and quit talking smak about the JW, they are good people and the religion makes the most sense of the bible. no other religion understands the bible better.

  • @yaxpak1 - I'm one dude who thinks VanCoffeeChick's videos were interesting.

I think former JW's would quit talking smack about the Watchtower if/when the WT would stop using other religions and former members ("evil apostates") as punching bags in their literature and at their conventions. But the Watchtower won't ever stop, because they need to create a common enemy to help keep the JW's loyal.

  • @cooper79jeffr

    Hi Jeff.

I am one of the punching bags you speak of.

If the WTS changed their shunning policy and policy on children & blood I would just quietly go away.

I know they probably never will.

Until they do [=never?] I shall fight them.

Still kicking. Keep up the good work!

  • @tommotian Until the bible changes that won't happen.

  • @cokepepsi1223

The unbiblical shunning condemns your religion.

And God does not require child sacrifices.

That was the practice of the Caananites.

For that God sentenced them to extermination.

So what do you think will happen to you in the end?

"They have built the high places of Topheth in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to burn their sons and daughters in the fire—something I did not command, nor did it enter my mind." -- Jer 7:31.

Letting the little ones die when needing blood is no better.

  • @tommotian CHILD SACRIFICES?? come on!!! hahaha....So if a child gets a blood transfusion and dies from HIV or hepatitus or just dies from surgical complications then is that also child sacrifice? It happens everyday dude....And how about you mention the benefits from bloodless surgery? ie (lack of infection risk, quicker recovery time, confidence that you stood firm by biblical standards??)

  • You get a lot of ex-Mormons doing the same, I left the Mormon cult last October, but still feel the need to speak out about it.

  • will you marry me

  • They are like rape victims.

  • Its a shame because I really wanna serve God with my whole mind, heart, and soul vyt because of how I was raised I have a deep fear of serving God incorrectly and find myself constantly questioning if Jw were right and what if I'm wrong

  • I was raised as a jw and although I've been in and out of church for the past couple years of my adult life I find myself constantly being pulled it tugged by the beliefs of my youth even tho I never really was able to truly except the teachings of jw in my heart! I must say I have to agree my Grandparents raised their children and my siblings and I under the teachings of jw and I can't even have a real relationship with my own mother because of my decision to serve God elsewhere

  • The day I 'really' pulled out the fish hooks the watchtower organisation uses to control its followers, was the day I found true happiness. After having drummed into me for years that happiness was impossible without the watchtower organisation in my life, I found it refreshing when I found that this was just another lie. The happiness I now have for mine and my families future and the awesome life we enjoy everyday in the creation of our father is just mind blowing without being a WT puppet.

  • From Heretic to Athiest???? Who's in Charge of this lady's life. Give you one Guess.

  • @georgehuddo

Are you saying she's following Satan? I think she's following her conscience.

  • @tommotian You guesses correctly!!!

  • @tommotian Atheism is as dangerous as the Watchtower. The results are the same. Eternal damnation.

  • @georgehuddo

Maybe, and maybe not. It depends on the individual. Only God and Christ can read hearts. Isa 11:3.

  • @georgehuddo She is.

  • Van coffee Chick The synagogue of Satan, the Watchtower Society & its firstborn son of Satan the Governing Body has won, Over the years they have installed in you a critical spirit against the the Christian Church, which they call the Whore of Babylon. Could it be that the Watchtower burned you very badly when you left by using your own family against you, Putting their cruelty & abuse with the Anti Christendom abuse, don't you think you were looking only for similar faults in us when you came?

  • @georgehuddo

Sorry, but it is almost completely impossible that the said lady would ever believer there is a God. Your are right that the WTS must have burned her badly.

However, she is to be commended for resisting the WTS.

    She's an ally!

  • @tommotian yes - she makes for her very hard to deal with. She increases her apostasy - better would be to be quiet and repentant and to enjoy her freedom - but rather than to shoot to even her parents of shunning her. She has commited something wrong and she was a transgressor of biblical stuff - see 1. Cor. 5+6. But she will not repent and to turn away from her badness and for this reason she is shunned. If I meet a person and I don't like its thinking and talking I go away - leave it alone.

  • @MichaelMijiale

You say she's a transgressor. Of what? Do you know her?

Shunning is not a Biblical procedure.

She can't just leave it. You know very well that someone wishing to leave, for ANY reason, "is to be treated as a disfellowshipped one", that is what I myself listened to.

No wonder then that she strikes back at the WTS.

Had she been treated like a human being, and not as a carcass-to-be at Armageddon for leaving, things would have been VERY different for her!

    Your comment?

  • @tommotian Hi, see my English Blog about Jehovah's Witnesses and Children there you get many answer of your questions.

    Have a nice day

    MichaelMijiale

  • JW's are a dangerous cult.I am glad you are not in it anymore. My heart goes out to you....

  • @tgillspy2 dangerous how...? curious

  • @tommotian "shunning isn't a biblical procedure"?? (Genesis 3:23,24) (Matthew 18:15-17) (1 Corinthians 5:11,13) (1 Timothy 5:20) What Bible are you referring to????

  • @cokepepsi1223 - Shunning the way that the Watchtower carries it out isn't Biblical. By that I mean -- starting with an accusation from possibly anonymous sources, procedding to a secret committee meeting, and then finally an announcement in front of the congregation about whom to shun. What Bible has any of these procedures?

  • @cooper79jeffr starting with an accusation? The scripture says at the mouth of two witnesses a matter is confirmed, so clearly the use of witnesses in investigating a judicial matter is the course of wisdom. If the accusation is unfounded, then so be it, the matter is left alone. If there is, then a "judicial committee" of several responsible men is created to speak with the wrongdoer and share scriptural thoughts to readjust his wrong thinking and hopefully move him to repentance

  • Comment removed

  • @cokepepsi1223 [1]

I am referring to any Bible but the NWT since they have falsely inserted "Jehovah' into the NT without the tetragrammaton appearing in any of the Greek Koine source texts translated from. OK, that's that. Next scriptures mentioned.

Gen 3:23,24, about Adam and Eve being bannished from the garden of Eden DIRECTLY BY GOD, not applicable to us.

Matt 18:15-17, not about shunning, sinner to be treated like a pagan. Did the Jews refuse to talk to pagans?

  • @tommotian Hi tommotian, Do you have a New world translation your possession?

  • @georgehuddo

Yes. I have the 1984 edition with references at the back of it and with footnotes.

  • @tommotian Gen 3: JWs believe that the judgement handed down is supported by God. You're assuming (probably based on your own beliefs) that this is not the case. So still applicable. Matt 18:The "sinners" today are equivalent to the "sinners" back then, hence the tradition of shunning *which (by the way) is practiced in MANYYYY other religions than JWs. (ie. Judaism where they actually mourn the person as if they have died. or Islam where they refuse to associate)

  • @cokepepsi1223

Why do you refer to Islam? So this is how desperate you are in your defense of the shunning perpetrated by the WTS.

We do not live in the Garden of Eden, we are not under the Law Covenant of Moses. So what is binding for CHRISTIANS? All judgment is entrusted to the Son, John 5:22, and IF you claim Christianity, stick to scripture and stop referring to "MANYYYY other religions", will you!!

Matt 18: The congregation is alerted but still no shunning. Read the account!

  • @tommotian And in fact yes Jews were disgusted by Pagans and just by tradition did not associate with them. (There was even an apostle who was ashamed to be seen eating with Pagans and other non-Jews)

  • @cokepepsi1223

I repeat, Did the Jews refuse to talk to pagans? At all?

What you are referring to is Paul reproving Peter for demanding that pagans observe Jewish customs. Peter was on this occasion beset by fear of man - this has nothing whatsoever to do with/is an excuse for the hammering shunning your cult is world-infamous for. Besides, PETER WAS WRONG!

Read the account in Gal 2:11-14 and see for yourself.

I am sorry to say that you are wrong again.

You are mixing up the events.

  • @cokepepsi1223 [2]

1 COR 5:11,13, this is about CLOSE intimate associaton with such a person and about not inviting him/her into one's home. Still not shunning Watchtower style.

1 Tim 5:20, this is about public reproof in the congregation before onlookers in order to protect it from bad influence. Nothing is said about what was to follow after that. No Watchtower style shunning here either!

Nothing about ousting children for having conscientous objections to an article in the Watchtower.

  • @tommotian 1 Corinthians: The principle is the same. Inviting a man into your home was seen as a COMMON and EXPECTED basic behavior extended even to COMPLETE strangers. If you did not even invite a certain man into your home for a meal, that person was obviously considered not good enough even for that BASIC level of association, much less an actual friendship.

  • @cokepepsi1223

    No, you are completely wrong.

The Greek word for "associate with" is 'synanamignysthai' and according to Strong's Greek Lexicon it means "be identified with" or "associate intimately with". INTIMATELY.

Obviously association of a kind that would make onlookers think you are in full agreement ["identified"] with him, of the same kind as he is.

Not at all what you are saying!

You are making up your own explanation to excuse the WTS.

  • @MichaelMijiale

    "She increases her apostasy".

I guess you are thinking about 2 John 1 in saying. If you are:

This is a reference to someone CLAIMING TO BE A CHRISTIAN, and yet WITHIN THE CONGREGATION is bringing a teaching not in accordance with that of the apostles and/or Jesus Christ.

She likely did not do that. She did not bring them a different religious teaching:

    She LEFT it ALTOGETHER.

    Now understand the difference please.

She's to be shown human love, not hate.

    Do you agree?

  • It is deemed for man to die but once then comes judgment.Heb.9:27 After the body you have now is resurrected, Death & Hades are thrown into Gehenna the Lake of Fire with Satan the Beast & the False Prophet. If your name is not written in the book of life, you will be thrown alive into Gehenna. Death as we know it has gone, & you can't die again, & will burn alive in sulphur & brimstone day & night forever & ever.& ever. Rev.20:10-15 Thus says the Scriptures which cannot be broken!

  • @tommotian She has jumped from the frying pan into the fire. Same results!!!

  • @georgehuddo

    Maybe.

There is always a reason for leaving. We HAVE TO respect different opinions.

    Leave the rest to God!

    John 5:21,22.

  • It was very hard for me to move on. I had no friends n my family dnt want to hang with me. Also the jw doctrine was still affecting me n it did for very long time.

  • @elnelinqui How are you doing now my friend? If you are being rejected by the people who used to be your friends in the Watchtower, the love that they had for you is conditional love, & its not worth a cent. You have lost nothing What is it? Are they saying that if you reject the teachings of the Organization they wont love you anymore. This is conditional love. Please don't mope around. You need to find some real friends who will love because you are you, & no other reason

  • Ask any non-JW psychologist what the long-term effects are when a person loses his whole social structure and is shunned by his "friends" and "family", even being blamed and vilified for leaving the organization. Any honest ones will tell you the effect is devastating, sometimes fatal. Such exclusion is almost the worst thing you can do to a person. And the Watchtower calls it "loving discipline". Ha.

  • As to the claim that they don't break up families, the internal JW newsletter "Our Kingdom Ministry" has published precise instructions on avoiding "disfellowshipped" friends, family members who live outside the home, and even family members who live inside the home. They have a long list of rules (like the hard-ass 1st century religious leaders called Pharisees) that tell exactly how a family is to be broken up.

  • @cooper79jeffr "THE family is the oldest institution on earth, and it plays a vital role in human society. Throughout history, strong families have helped to make strong societies. The family is the best arrangement for bringing up children to be mature adults." From the WT book "The Secret to Family Happiness"

  • @cokepepsi1223

I am sure you understand why cooper79jeffr hasn't answered you.

You are copying and pasting, devoid of any thinking of your own, completely gulping it down whatever comes from the WTS.

Fed like a baby, mouth open, no thinking of your own.

Others, particularly in parts of the Catholic Church, have very good programs for families saying about the same things which you just barfed here.

You do NOT have the monopoly on what Christianity is.

    Is Christianity TM the WTS?

  • @cooper79jeffr "16 Where, then, can we look for reliable family guidance? Well, would you look to a book completed some 1,900 years ago? Or would you feel that a book like this must be hopelessly out-of-date? The truth is, the real secret of family happiness is found in just such a source."

  • @cooper79jeffr "Jehovah has observed family life since mankind’s beginning. He knows the problems that can arise and has given counsel for solving them. Throughout history, those who sincerely applied Bible principles in their family life found greater happiness."

  • @cokepepsi1223 - It's nice that an organization gives lip service to family values. However can you realistically deny what I stated?

I said: "The internal JW newsletter "Our Kingdom Ministry" has published precise instructions on avoiding "disfellowshipped" friends, family members who live outside the home, and even family members who live inside the home."

  • @cooper79jeffr "precise instructions" can only be called such if someone CHOOSES to obey them. so yes we are given suggestions as to how to deal with disfellowshipped family members, because the SCRIPTURAL admonition about "not even eating with such a man" refers to any man/woman who has been disfellowshipped, including family.. I have family members who were disfellowshipped and chose to come back even though they had experienced the disfellowshipping process

  • EXAGGERATIONS AGAIN they dont break up families. DISFELLOWSHIPPING is a command against serious wrongdoing and the unrepentant attitude of a wrong doer. i shouldnt surprise any of us if it comes to this. SOMEONE WHO LEAVES and becomes inactive is not necessarily disfelowshipped, theyre simply inactive,LEAVING is a choice, we serve God out of FREE WILL not COMPULSION like other religions, when one leaves GOD doesnt stop them, its their choice

  • @gemsgarden07 -- How exactly do "other religions" have more compulsion than Jehovah's Witnesses?

If you can manage to stretch and see another side of the discussion, it isn't unreasonable to assume that fear of disfellowshipping is a form of compulsion -- especially the rule that says JW friends and family cannot speak to a disfellowshipped person for fear of getting booted out themselves!

  • @gemsgarden07 Satan is the father of all liars John 8:44

  • As the old Hymn says "'Turn your eyes upon Jesus look full in His wonderful Face, and the things of this world will grow slowly dim in the light of His glory and grace. (2 of 2)

  • It is sad that Jehovah's Witnesses who escape from the Watchtower and become Athiests, are only jumping from the frying pan into the Fire. The only winner is Satan. I have also seen people following religious leaders as their example . Don't do this!, Follow Christ, and Him only for all others fall short of the Glory of God, and there is none that have not sinned except Him. (1 of 2)

  • You cant move on because you cant walk away from the truth...you cant live a lie when you know the truth....you cant return to your vomit.

  • @femyendymsc

Yeah man ... don't come here puke on me. Instead, go take a shower and wash away the spew.

  • @femyendymsc Jehovah's Witnesses never ever had the truth. It's not their fault. They have been lied to for over 130 years. A lot of these people never really knew they were following a world wide false prophet. The Watchtower prophesied the end times in 1874,1881,1914,1915,1918,1925,1942, & 1975. How many of you even know about Beth-Sarim the "House of the Princes" that Rutherford had built for the Patriarchs that he said would be resurrected in 1925. All these prophesies failed.

  • Many who leave the Watchtower become disillusioned with religion in any form because of the Anti-Christian teachings of the Watchtower. The Athiests know this, and that is why there are many of them on these sites trying to recruit ex Jehovah's witnesses. If you fall into Atheism you will be spitting in the Face of Yahweh, who just rescued you from the Iron Yolk of the Watchtower Society's Governing Body. Don't lose faith in God. He hasn't lost faith in you and his Love is forever.

  • If you are not sure who to talk to or are a little afraid, and you need answers on Scriptural matters, then log onto "Outlines of Theology by A.A.Hodge" on YouTube It is free. So is Abstracts of Systematic Theology by James. P. Boyce. Hodge is excellent, and not only does he open up the Scriptures for all to understand. He also reveals the teachings of many many Heretical groups and he shows in scripture why they should be rejected. I highly recommend their works. Please log on!

  • @femyendymsc If people left the Organization because of the uncaring and calouse cruelty you have just shown. Then Jehovah God has rescued them from people like you. The first thing they should do is go out and make friends that will love them for themselves, and no other reason. If they have doctrinal problems, there are some pretty solid apologists on sites like this who will help them. All they have to do is ask a question and they will be given the real truth of Scripture

  • Of course they can move on. Anybody can move on from anything if they really want to. There are people in this world who have been through far worse and they have never been JW's.

  • @42amylou - To say "anybody can move on from anything" is an oversimplification at best and terribly insensitive at worst.

  • The answer to this woman's first question about why ex-JW's can't move on is; because they belonged to a CULT, not a religion! They would do better to go to see a de-programmer. They were involved in a controling, narrow and negative view of the world and that's hard to turn away from. Believe in God and his love for you, he created you and will not abandon you ever!

  • JW do not shun. Apostates simply saying JW shun over and over again will not make it true I am afraid.

  • @warriorprince1010 - Shunning is defined as avoiding deliberately and especially habitually. So if you don't treat disfellowshipped or disassociated former JW's in that way, what exactly do you call it?

To me, if it walks like shunning, talks like shunning -- it IS shunning. You just don't like to call it that.

  • @cooper79jeffr " disfellowshipped"...means you have been asked to elave the congregation as you did bad things. Totally different to people who choose to elave. Do not try to mix thing sup because your first arguement failed. There is no shunning of ex JW. Staying away from bad people is a natural thing. People in all social groups try to do it. I do not mix with local criminals.

  • @warriorprince1010 Excuse me WP are yo referring to disfellowshipped people as criminals, or in the least aligning them with criminals ????

  • @georgehuddo Yes, if they have done criminal acts.

  • @warriorprince1010 Satan is the father of the liar because no truth can be found in him

  • Everyone acts like nothing bad has ever happend in their Religon or in your own family for that matter that you just found out about!!!! it is shameful but just becuase you are a part of something physically does not mean that you are a part mentally. Everyone has problems and if God saw only on our faults WHO COULD STAND!

  • @fulltrist Let's put that theory to the test! Answer these questions. Do you believe Thomas when he called Jesus Christ "The God of me , and The Lord of me?" The Scriptures clearly indicate that the Holy Spirit has mind will and emotion, so do you? believe He is a Person? Do you believe that Jesus Christ is Michael the Archangel ?

Do you believe that Colo.1:15,16; and Rev.3:14 proves that Christ is a created being, or do you believe that He came fro eternity, as Micah. 5:2 declares?

  • Fucking secterians, accept christianity to fix yourself, remove that fake behavior and be shiny with Christ.

  • Immorality in Gods Organization The “Watchtower” January 1st 1986, page 13, admitted that immoral practices were rife within the Organization. Even some of their most prominent people were involved in Homosexuality, Wife swapping & Child molesting. Apparently according to the Watchtower, in the previous year no less than 36,638 people had to be disfellowshipped, & a great number for practicing immorality. I reiterate, the Watchtower-January 1st 1986 page 13 (For religious study purposes )

  • Pointing out a real problem in a religious organization is not blasphemy. What is evil is going to great lengths to deny and cover it up, as the Watchtower has done since 2002 when various media carefully exposed it for the world to see. The shows included Dateline NBC, Panorama on the BBC, and a news program on Australia's channel 9 network.

  • @cooper79jeffr Well said Jeffrey!!!

  • There actually is a large pedophile and cover-up problem in the Jehovah's Witnesses. It has been occuring for decades. Barbara Anderson and Bill Bowen spoke truth to and about powerful men of the Watchtower, and they were disfellowshipped for it.

Calling the problem "bullshit" in no way disproves it. As I have stated several times: I have met 2 young women who were personally sexually abused when younger by a JW who was related to the most prominent man in a central Minnesota congregation.

  • @cooper79jeffr get a life!

  • @bashir0902 Jeffrey is doing ok! How are you doing friend?

  • all of these things are completely untrue....... just wanted to establish that

  • @100Biebergurl Posted " All these things are not true." Why are they not true? Prove them wrong !!! Do you believe in your own New World Translation or not? Because that is where these teachings came from. Don't tell me you believe the Watchtowers Governing Body over and above your own New World Translation, wouldn't this be blasphemy ????

  • JWs dont keep there leggs closed ever and the men dont keep their hands on their own wives trust me they are the most sinful and they lie and cover it up. I know first hand. I was molested by one at 17 he was 8 years older. And after me he had a 14 year old girl so sad he is not the only one.

  • Jehovah's Witnesses are a bunch of Authoritarian hypocrites. Thats been my experience. I have met one or two nice ones but they're few and far in between.

  • What was it that made you leave?

  • First comment I've ever made to "YouTube", and it opened this whole page of religious tirades. What a mess! I'm thinkin' poor "VanCoffeeCick" may be reading this, and wondering if she should go hide out somewhere's.... Ya'll have fun, I gotta go get my Xmas lights up.

  • For me, the difficulty moving on comes down to 3 things. First, the witnesses do a fair job of pointing out the negative things in other religions, so it's difficult to go there. Second, they do an excellent job of keeping some family members in the club, so you're never completely away from it. And finally, the saddest thing is that they do a good job of teaching isolation as a norm, which weakens ones motivation to connect with anyone new.

  • @Aintskeerd11 - Excellent points! Your first point is why I have become steadfastly non-religious. The JW's are generally correct in saying "religion is a snare and racket".

Your 2nd point makes it really hard to move on, as family members either look down on you or preach to you to come back. Their insecurity (because we're different) can transfer to us.

As to your third point -- it takes effort, but there are many good friendly people who will like or love you for what you actually are!

  • @cooper79jeffr and @Aintskeerd. Yeah you two. Make sure you both get your Christmas lights up, AND FEAR NOT THE WORLD WIDE FALSE PROPHET. Merry Christmas.

  • They have to put you at odds with yourself , at odds with your family , at odds with the rest of the world.

    Divide and conquer

All they are selling is the delusion that you can somehow cheat death , and as long as some sucker is willing to buy it , they will never go away.

  • The question is : Do JW preach truth? The answer is : NO! Thats the most important. If something is not truth , how can it be good to anybody???

By the way : you are beautiful.

  • what shit yall watch n promote jed
