@Kanefan701 I think he's talking about Ryu, because Bison (or Vega, sick from this name switching >=/ ) thinks that Seth is a faliure, remember that :)
@mangastar666 I know he thinks Seth is a failure, but he wants him out first before getting to Ryu... perhaps Bison should also get a bit of revenge on Akuma.
Akuma killing Bison doesn't make for epic anime. Five Street Fighters vs. Bison/Vega is more dramatic. This was only meant to be an advertisement for the game, after all.
Wasn't Akuma who apparently "Killed" Bison with the Shun Goku Satsu. We know Bison had an extra body to come back alive. I don't buy the suicide explotion. I bet Juri was the one who finally toasted Bison's ass in SF4 and that's why we see Gill as the new boss in SF3.
In the game, yes. But you needed certain prerequisites in order for that to happen, so it's not definite
In the 1994 animated film, Street Fighter II, it was Ken and Ryu who defeated Dictator, but of course he came back at the end of the film. Akuma's only appearance in the film was in India, when E. Honda and Dhalsim were fighting, he was just sitting against a wall.
Its not completely "official" Capcom just allowed the studio to produce the film, they had nothing to do with the movie's storyline. The movie did inspired capcom to make the alpha series though.
True, but with the exception of all the short SFIV trailer animes, like this one (not counting "The ties that bind" OVA).
If you watch carefully, all these trailers match what is said (or suggested) inside the actual game (SFIV), and might be considered canon... at least until something changes.
This includes some differences with stuff that was previously supposed to be canon, but it has been belied by both said short trailers and the actual ingame (SFIV) dialogues and cinematics.
@thejesman like how in this Bison blow himself up, I would have liked it better if they had made it where Akuma kills him (like in the games) it would have been better, I know the movies are not cannon but little things like not changing somthing that is already established in the games would make them more enjoyable.
yea but the series of SF2V had lots of mistakes or differences from the real story, just for the fact balrog was an infiltrated CIA agent!! that was the worse xD
It looks like Bison wants to take Seth's body... at least that's he's saying. btw this was great video to know that he made his return.

Wait a sec, Akuma was the one who killed Bison, but Capcom hasn't confirmed who won the tournament.

Yeah but the games are canon, not the films.

Iono, as far as story goes, I'd rather trust the official animated film than the game.

Yeah, that's something I wondered about myself. The way these little trailers are being promoted, I'm wondering if they might be canon.
thejesman 2 years ago
They are canon. They were made at fan request for canonical animations, as far as I'm concerned. But I'm pretty sure they're canon.

@thejesman The animated ones for SFIV are.
Hell, SSFIV repeatedly references the Juri movie.

He did, but Bison's soul just keeps getting into new clones of his body, and in SFIV, he wanted to inhabit Seth's body.

I'm just fine with subtitles, but it would be really neat to have an English version.
