they sound no where near as good as the backwards they truly sound exactly like they would live plus the guy that plays john in the backwards looks exactly like him in the face
I was in the front row when they did this at Abbey Road in Louisville, Ky. It was great.
If you can get here for Abbey Road....it is a great weekend. It is on the Belvedere overlooking the River in Downtown Louisville...five or six stages with different Beatle Bands for three or Four days. They usually have a variety of venues...I had tea with George Harrisons sister, Got Pete Best autograph, attended a lecture by Beatles historian Bruce Spicer. A great time for Beatles fans..FAB
What month is this from? I saw the tribute in August 2006 and James Pou, who playes George was not with the band. They had a different George AND Ringo from what is on this video. By the way, the George and Ringo now touring with the Tribute are the original members from when the band first started. The Tribute does put on an absolutely fab show!
This show filmed was in May. I believe this was their last performance together. Jimmy Pou is now playing with British Export and the drummer is with Liverpool Legends both Chicago based groups. I'm looking forward to seeing the new (or original) line up.

I don't care how old they are....they sound dead on like a live beatle show. Best I've heard and I've heard a lot of Beatle tribute bands

A bunch of old guys wearing young Beatles clothes and wigs? Time to be put to pasture if you ask me.

Yes, they are still together. Jimmy Pou (George) has moved on and is now with "Beatlemania Now", now they have Tom Work as George.

thats a drag.
"George" was the best in the band.

Haha. That depends on who you ask :) That's not really a drag for me because I really like Beatlemania Now, so it's good for BMN fans!

yes Sora1777&getback50 They are tuned down because they are older and they can't hit the high notes like the Beatles did.
1964beatleman 4 years ago
oh so that's the reason. It doesn't sound any different.

Why are they Tuned down a Half a Step? Good Band Though.
getback50 5 years ago
It's for vocal reasons.

so that's why it doesn't sound right when I play it along with there CD?!!!

They are tuned down because they play 140 shows a year and don't want to put too much stress on their voices. Tuning down makes singing easier

Yes it would be very hard for them to reach those note's.Tuning down isn't a bad thing, everybody does it.
