  • This is all bullshit,I know these people, they are all stupid motherfuckers

  • so 400 hp per liter

    thats insane D:

  • 1:14 for vid!

  • WEST PALM BEACH! YEAAA!

  • how much u put in to run 800hp?

  • @warezhacker We don't know. This was just a one-time dyno session. We haven't seen the car since then.

  • wtf isnt that stephn from stp?

  • @Delarick Yes.

  • @Delarick st paul...damn i new there was a 1000hp here on stock ecu but i didnt know about this one

  • i see 807.1 at the 2:36 mark and 591.3, you saw 799.6 and 572.6 at 3:23 get it straight

  • @softballmogie34 @egale180 obviously watched the second half of the video but didn't watch the first half, otherwise he would have not gotten it so badly wrong.

Then again, the fact that it's taken him well over a year to respond indicates that he is still learning to count over 800.

  • @softballmogie34 "Get it straigt". Not impressed with a 807.1hp with a 1.25 cf on a dynojet at sea level. I put down 671.8hp with a 1.15cf at 5000ft on a dynodynamics dyno. So doing a little bit of math would put me at well over 900hp at 1.25cf at sea level. Yet. GO EVO!!

  • @softballmogie34 Hmmm..... 807.1awhp at sea level on a dynojet with a 1.25cf. Not impressed. I put down 671.8awhp with a 1.15cf at 5000ft on a dynodynamics dyno. Little bit of math and you have over 900hp on a dynojet with a 1.25cf at sea level. Yet? GO EVO!!

  • why is that dude wearing seatbelt on dyno???

  • I guess its using a slightly modified FQ-400 engine?

  • haha that guy is wearing the right shirt

  • honestly I rather get something else like a stock evo atleast its more stable. 800 or close to 800 in this video is pointless on the street maybe the track.

  • Those are no stable 800HP, the power curve looks terrible as like some misreading of the ignition wire or something else happened... watch all those peakes!!

800HP are sounding other than that...

    ;o)

  • @RoadRash188 Yeh such a narrow curve the power is pointless.

  • i seen 807 max hp nice evo btw

  • @jll209 Lol Where Im Live Florida A Guy Have Evo 960hp Fking Fast !!

  • yeah...but i live in california where we have all these gay ass laws regarding smog and shit soo you dont really see all the high hp cars driving around on streets

  • @jll209 yahh i no dude he only take car to car show's amd things like that but i see tha car racing woowow 960hp ;)

  • So the car really makes 675........ This dyno is known to read high.

  • lol I dont think resale is on their priority list.

  • the point in car tuning is you spend 3 times the car is worth but u will nether get you money back but its the thought that you built it and done it yourself you pay for

  • video or your full of shit.

  • i think he means he has a dildo strapped to his bumper where that car's exhaust is.

at least, thats what i did to my car...

  • If you ever have one

  • i see alot of videos that say hp but none says WHP...i would want the torque number be close to the HP rating

  • i only saw 779.6HP with 572.6 lb tq? thats definately close but not over 800, keep trying

  • What do you see at the 2min 36sec mark?

  • yeah and with a small turbo like that how long do you think you'd have before you blew the engine or the oil lines in that turbo at 35 psi?

  • seeing how the next run wasnt even close to 800+ @ 779 you obviously wouldnt be able to have that for more then 1 run down a 1/4 mile

  • @egale180 I believe it shows 807.1 horses at 2:35

  • @egale180

    ... 807 hp

  • not as loud as i thought it would be

  • and what is that graph. if its the powerband then that really needs to be smoothened out. i got 726hp but the graph looked like a mountain pass you know. the igniton wasn't holding up so ems was kicking the fuel off to. im down to 619 until my sparktech comes in

  • how did you guys do that wwith wat sounds like a low psi diverter valve. im not trying to rag, nice runs just even under the aem i coudnt hold over 30 psi on an oe replacement

  • it says NO SMOKING on the door and hes puffing away

  • We told him he had two hours to stop doing that.

  • esagerati

  • I would say the exact same thing if I knew as little as you do about this car.

He's well past 800 whp now.

That was his only session at our dyno. He's around South Florida though.

  • 779.6hp no 800hp

  • When you give your age, do you specify years and days (let alone hours, minutes and seconds), or do you round *down* to just years?

  • According to you then it should state 780WHP and not 800WHP or 779.6WHP in the description box, correct?

Please take no offense, only trying to make sense of what you, he^ and what the dyno say.

  • According to the 2min 36sec mark I should be saying 807 whp. Does that make more sense?

  • My mistake. Had a hard time seeing that portion due to blurriness. Yes, over 800WHP is correct. That gentlemen stating 779.6HP should have payed closer attention to the vid at 2:36

    Good tuning.

  • Why did it drop to 780WHP? After several runs do you just choose the highest output you got?

  • Quite often, tuners like to iron out little wrinkles in the Air/Fuel Ratio curve or they see a hiccup somewhere they want to remove.

While we ordinary mortals concentrate on the biggest and fastest, tuners are paying attention to a lot more details than the untrained eye can see.

They don't care about the peak power so much as they care about a uniform power curve.

  • I see. I'm only trying to understand the tuning process. Many assume the first reading spewed out is final and precise. I certainly understand that there is more to it -- Trial and error, right? Getting everything in sync.

  • Every tuning session is different. There are so many factors involved that tuners don't tell you about especially when you put a camcorder on them.

And explaining it would not be worth their time, so they just do their thing and keep their secrets to themselves.

  • Unfortunately, YouTube wasn't allowing high-quality video at the time this video was uploaded.

Videorecording computer screens is a difficult transition from videorecording people and objects in the real world.

The car has since gone way past 800 but that happened elsewhere.

  • Good work. If i only lived near Lauderhill, Fl i probably would come by your shop to check things out. I live in Northern VA, so as you can see its pretty far. Around 16 hours away. Even if i had an Si(Which i have been checking out) I don't know how i would be able to take a trip down there for your services.

Might consider having the kit shipped, though I'm not too experienced with auto-work.

  • Although, I'm also very into STI's. However, I would take your Tuned Si over a stock STI anyday.

However due to money, I'm considering purchasing an STI rather than purchasing an Si and the AJP kit, Install, and tune. Yes i know, your cars would smoke me, though I'm not a racer, I don't go to the track, race on public streets or ever have the intention to show off. If i want power and looks it would be mainly for my own amusement and pleasure.

  • So I'm in kind of a dilemma. STI or Si+AJP Kit, Install and Tune.

If i get an Si, i have to go all out and go for the AJP kit, but If i go with an STI, i'm fine with it stock. I don't know?

  • What do you and everyone else here think i should do?

  • Well everyone else, I know what AJ would say -- lol.

  • You should test drive or ride in each one and then make your decision.

  • Check out YouTube user USNClaros, who has a 2007 Honda Civic Si Sedan with our turbo kit and *wild* paint job. He lives in Northern VA and would be happy to give you a ride.

  • I have, and he paid over 8k for everything, excluding the actual cars price. A used Si runs from around 16000 to 22000 with good miles, plus the 8k for AJP turbo, Install and tune -- Thats 26000 to 30000 for the si. There are however used STI's for from 21000 to 32000(less miles and the newer 08 model).

So like you said, i guess i have to test drive both and see which one suites me the best. Thanks for your feedback, and if i do decide to land on the Si, I'll be sure to save up for you kit.

  • You have a different perspective whereby you have some criteria by which you choose your car. Most of our customers buy the Si first and then decide to boost it.

  • Yes of course, no argument there. That is why i chose to go with an STI. If i decide to boost that, i can do so.

STI's have such great potential(which you probably are already aware of), easily hitting with no effort 500WHP and going over 1000WHP after extensive upgrading, rebuilding and tuning.

  • When you get tired of your STI, be sure to come back and boost your Si...

  • I doubt that if i got tired of an STI I would seek a boosted Si -- no offense.

  • *shrug*

  • The STi is boosted already.. what do you mean?

  • He means that if he ever got tired of the STI, a boosted Si with the AJP turbo kit would not be the next car on his list.

He wasn't comparing the two cars directly.

  • Tell me what number you see at 2min 36sec of the video.

  • how does the tranny survive that? :O

  • Tranny does not survive. It's been through three so far.

  • not a bad way to spend ten thousand dollars /=

  • Good - Fast - Cheap: Pick Two

  • pas mal

  • this thing may look small..but these cars pump out a lot

  • ur breaks looks pretty small 4 800 horses...

  • it is

  • What kind of motor did you use and what did you do to it to make it stand up to 35psi?

  • Likely a built block. Reinforced pistons, connecting rods, etc.

  • nice manifold u got there

  • where's the shop located at?

  • We're in the Fort Lauderdale area. Check out our website at ajperformance (dot) com and ajperformance (dot) com/blog/

  • nice flat power curve....not

  • it looks like to me those are the points at which he shifted... they started recording data when the wheels started turning... smart guy...

  • And besides do you have a car nicer then that i would think not

  • damnnn a V4 engine producing 800 bhp.... wow

  • v4..... you mean an inline 4.

  • lol v4 thats cute..its an inline

  • what turbo is on the evo

  • DAMN! balls to the walls on that one bro

  • Mitsubishi Evo VIII this best cars i love this car:-)

  • i was wondering how you dyno a car. are you supposed to shift at every 3-4rpms until you get to the highest gear then you punch it? is that how it works?

  • fuckin sick evo...

  • That car is pretty high up on the sickness meter.

  • Hey AJP I got an 07 si how much would it cost me to get it installed like badins car did?

    Thanks!

    --Abdel

  • Badin had a custom install so his price will differ from yours. It's best to give us a call at 954-636-7992.

  • Pretty cool

  • Thanks. If you look carefully, you'll see that the wheel balance weights are gone after the first run because one came flying off and hit a mechanic. So all of the weights were removed as a precaution.
