I've just bought the v50: it's nice but not so great like you all say; looks like an old opel astra sw although much more safe and comfortable with accurate details. With a bigger budget I'd have bought a V70. Cars like XC60 or Rav 4 by Toyota are much more exciting

I'm sure that you all know that the chinese automaker Geely bought Volvo recently. People, don't freak out Volvo will still be made in Sweden and in Belgium and have its own board of directors so it will be Volvo's own thinking. And Geely will only be reciving parts and technologes from Volvo, not the other way around.

our V50 does turn heads even had a couple come up to us and say how nice it looks

@corvettec66r Nah, id say Rover here in the UK.........ok, they dont build them anymore, and the car likes to be connected to a hear monitor most of the time to stop the head gasket from going.........but, when ever ive had a rover, ive always sorted my life out for the better! Anyway, I have a ford focus now, exactly the same chassis as this and the Mazda 3.......still love volvo though no matter what.
