2) the vortex itself is not that wide it is the debris cloud that makes it seem that way. If the vortex was that wide it would do a lot more damage. A LOT!!!!!!!
i'm just starting to learn maya particle effects and am trying to make a tornado. i have the general shape of the particles down, but am having trouble getting the shader looking right. could you reveal how you created your realistic cloudy shader? thanks!
the camera really weakens it because i hear people in the background, so i assume people are holding it, but then it rotates around the tornado way too unrealistically and the noise rotation is a bit off too, although it looks awesome still
