this had to been the most memorable year ive ever experienced as a tar heel fan. when they won the title after all those years i had to watch em painfully come up short it felt like for 3 months i was walkin on cloud nine! i mean it literally felt like i began to fly when the clock hit 0:00 and we had won!

my bracket that year was hit hard by the upsets there were so many upsets in the 2005 tournament it was unreal, but I did get my champion right I picked North Carolina to win the title that year

There is no doubt that UConn, UL, & UNC were all more talented and to some degree all more experienced than MSU but they lacked the determination & focus that UNC did which stemmed from the o8 Final FOur loss to Kansas. Had one of those two had an experince like that to draw on I doubt MSU makes it to the NC game.
