I love this film, but I find it funny that the guy beside Andrea is resting the fiddle on the right shoulder, and bowing with the left hand. It's not something you really see being done, but I suppose if you go by Tomás O’Canainn ''there's no correct way to hold the fiddle'' it doesn't matter so much... He must be left handed lol! Did anyone else notice that?
None of them are really playing. It's hard to get an actor and musician rolled into one. Why didn't they cast Andrea's sister who actually plays the fiddle it might have worked better. A bit of info:

Optomis--Don't blame the director. She only plays pennywhistle, in the Corrs. Her sister plays fiddle.

its odd, because she actually has a band she plays in, just not in the movie. a poor director i would guess
