  • @sachurm yep, one powered by motor and one free spin =D

  • wow.that could have be awesome.thank you for the tips man.kinda hard to make this thing as we dont do anything yet and got 5 weeks to go.-.-

  • @sachurm Should've started earlier LOL Check out /watch?v=IuYNPUWONhM. They were a group in our year. Find really light materials. That group used a carbon fibre body. And do a lot of testing

  • @sachurm We reversed the gearing with a switch when it reached the top. We wanted to make a freefall mechanism but didn't have enough time. Would've been awesome

  • That's still pretty cool. So are you guys going to be competing in the 2008 competition? I'd like to get a group together and work on an entry as well, but right now I'm booked...good luck ^_^

  • That was pretty interesting. I know you said it ran on batteries, but wasn't there a laser in there? or did you combine batteries and the laser?

  • No laser, just 2x AA batteries.

It should've ran on 2 Solar panels which would've supplied the same amount of power but it was a cloudy day.

( The thing on the side which might look like a laser beam was actually a string. )
