lol, McDonalds left simply becouse it wasnt able to compete with other much cheeper franchises. They had buy their meat from overseas but the other burger joints bought much cheaper Icelandic meat.

I'm glad macdonals are leaving, we don't need some imported shit here, it's much better that from now on they will use Icelandic products for their food. It creates more jobs in Iceland and I would much prefer an Icelandic burger over a German one. :-)

McDonald's is poison....they should be converted to McSNORRI'S --- which could serve delicious cajun FISH BURGERS, fresh free range lamb burgers with wild Icelandic herbs.... and new potato fries.... Tourists would come from all over the globe... and you could franchise it in AMerica.
