@theairsoftrednecks lol [SPOILERS WARNING] In the end, your buddies betray you and shoot you. You can kill them and grab the briefcase (objective) or just grab the briefcase and run like hell! You then meet the jackal and he gives you too choices: Plant the dynamite and die or Give the diamonds to some faction leader and commit suicide later. It doesn't really show you killing yourself if you give the diamonds but the jackal tells you to... It's best if you reveal the ending

I hate the console FC2 you can't just save like that you've got to go to a safehouse to save and I remember the first mission I did was for the arms dealer guy it took me literally like 10 seconds to destroy the convoy although it took me about half an hour to get there because I had to go through loads of enemy caps and stuff. >:-(

has anybody ever randomly fainted when you look up into the sun. im not sure if this was a glitch, but after i killed gakumba with my rusty but sweet new mortar i was heading to sefapane to meat greaves. so in the description it sais that the town is in the middle of the two factions so i should be careful. so i steer out of the road and decide to go on foot. i look up at the sky and all of a sudden the screen starts loosing color and i faint only to wake up a second later. weird. mustbe a glitc

i like to ambush arms convoys on bridges, block the bridge with a jeep and place multiple IED's at he sides of the bridge, stupid AI actually stops the whole convoy on the bridge and KABOOOM.

Some weapons can be unlocked by completing the "barge defence" mission. I unlocked FAL Paratrooper that way

It's a mission that you can't miss. When you go to Bowa-Seko you have to meet Greaves at Sefapane. He tells you to go to Lake Segolo and meet barge skipper. When you talk to the skipper, the mission will start. (And the skipper will become ur friend :))

@jlecterjames Use M79, its almost as good as this one and uses secondary weapon slot. You don't even need that other grenade launcher to take out convoy, this one can do it just as easily and you get it pretty early in a game!

LAN stands for Local Area Network. You have to be connected to a LAN server specifically made for Far Cry 2.

Not really a trap if you start shooting them before they even get to the car. If you want to set a trap, park a car along the side of a road, with room to drive by. Then place an IED on the car. Then blow it as the truck drives by... that would be a trap
