@drchessman I would imagine you could eat it fresh if you want. It won't taste terrible, but it won't be as good as the varieties breed for that purpose. The kernels aren't as big and juicy.
I grind mine up for a rich flour to bake with or to make atole, a hot breakfast cereal/drink with a constancy somewhat similar to maltomeal.
Just got your channel from praxus seed exchange and I was exited to see you are a desert gardener too. I was just wondering if you have wolf berries (goji berries) in your area? I know they are native to Sadona Az and I would like to try them here in the Mohave low desert. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Blessed be my friend
@threeredstars I haven't seen them wild. But, some people have them in gardens around here. Plants of the Southwest, a great nursery in Santa Fe (they also have a website to order from), sell their seeds. I'll keep an eye out and take some cutting for you if you like.
@madeofyucca thank you so much all I need is the seeds so I'll give them a try. You can find the Tibettan ones everywhere but I would prefer the natives. I think they might grow better here. Thanks again!!!!
Do you ship to Mexico? How can i pay for travel costs?. I'm really interested. it's been my first year of gardening but i have small leaf basil, beetroot, spring onion, thyme and oregano if you would like some.
Thanks for the mention! Watch for the next update. You'll have a feature on it. Also, will PM you as would love some of that corn as well as seeds for the gourd as well. Will look into if you can eat them as well for ya! ;) -Randy
I did not grow any corn last year.. I think i should try to grow some this year. Is this like a heirloom?

Hi there. About the multicoloured corn - Why am I "going to want it dry?" Does it not taste nice fresh?
