I've never driven a Soarer, and though I like them, I've gotta say it looks like it handles like absolute rubbish out there.
You need front end, if you've got no front end you'll never natural drift, and if you're not natural drifting even a little, you'll never hold it. The car needs way better balance, either from spring rate or tyres, then practise trying to get the car loose without too much throttle, or with brief handbrake.

You are trying to fight it with steering only! try learn to throttle steer it sounds like you are going flat out (you can tell by approaching corner with understeer!). Also try counter steering earlier! Sorry to say soarers suck through. Even the wall thought so. Otherwise thanks this made me laugh....

I dirve a soarer. No need to fish tail it. just accelerate and trust the car will kick out. stock standard 4 litre V8 can easily get wheel spin in the wet at even 100km/h in a straight line. He needed to be softer on the accelerator at times. Secondly when the tail steps out the driver never straightened his steering enough if at all before it was too late. These cars are bang for your buck when it comes to power and were well ahead of its time. Very expensive to fix. A write off for sure

I have a damn good idea of what the feeling is, i was drifting in my dads c230k in the middle east, n i thought i scraped it like hell all along the side of the cliff wall, but it was juss the sound of gravel n shit n dirt kicking up under the car. i stayed in the car for like 5 minutes still schocked until i went out to discover nothing happened... lol the feeling does suck.

I'm sorry for this man, but i know it's not an easy car to drift since i saw Chris Fosberg try to drift one in Québec last summer, (70-30 weight distribution) ,+-1600kg and steering angle is little. But if you can learn to drift it , you will'be able to drift any car.
