I don't have any of the problems you do but I do have 2 extra wisdom teeth on my top jaw(they're not full grown, kind've like mini me wisdom teeth lol), because of that I have to have a tube inserted into my throat and an oxygen pump so they don't injure my throat since they have to dig in deeper. Thank you 4 sharing your experience ^_^ I feel a little calmer now <3
holy crap your story is so painful..... just listening to this made my pain kinda subside ( I had two pulled yesterday) i got prescibed ibuprofen and amoxicillin.... i had vicodins at home.... so i didnt think i needed to ibuprofen.....big mistake....the vicodins in my case didnt do justice.... so i was hating life on my way to the pharmacist.....ibuprofen 800 mg did wonders.... doesnt take the pain completely away.....but i feel a bit functional...... i just want my pain to go away

your stupid. you didnt need to eat anything when taking your pain killers. If you crushed the vic and swallowed it, it would have been in your system within 20 mins.

It was pretty hard. It was the worst tooth removal I ever had. But compared to yours, they were pretty simple. They were just hard to access and VERY FIRMLY ATTACHED.
But they weren't growing under bones or into teeth or wrapped around nerves or having cysts or anything like that. The doctor needed a real wrench and to use her entire body to pull the damn things out, because of how firmly they were attached.
jesus how melodramatic, welcome to the club, i had three pulled out 5 days ago. bottom one was soft tissue impacted and the top two had to be cut out and sawn into three pieces before the surgeon was able to extract them. then i developed dry socket three days ago in my bottom left socket. but hell ive gotten over it. for anyone getting their wisdom teeth taken out dont worry its not that bad, seriously! one day of slight discomfort and then its all uphill. youl be fine :)
Wisdom teeth are funny things. On the one hand if they do flare up they can be a huge problem and pain. But then many people have wisdom teeth, impacted or straight, that never cause any problems. I got top wisdom teeth in my teens but the bottom ones are not there - so the top ones have slowly grown downwards as there's only gum there. I can now feel them 'catching' against my bottom teeth. Dentist wants them out!

I have to agree that this is worse case scenario. I got mine out yesterday and it's a pain in the ass to recover, but it's alright. Once you get your pain killers everything is fine. I had all four of my wisdom teeth out with no problems. You should re-title the video and say this is worse case scenario because you're scaring a lot of people. Worst part is the pain until you get your pills and I miss solid foods...

Let me tell anyone getting their wisdom teeth out...DO NOT eat anything with rice in in it. The pieces get stuck in the holes and sometimes you can't see them...until it begins to hurt! I know from experience.

@snpierkiller Having them removed does not hurt because you will be numb and probably put to sleep as well. I am gonna warn you that afterwards your mouth will def ache pretty badly and you might acquire some temporary chipmunk cheeks (I did because I have a small face). But it is not as bad as everyone thinks; I just had mine out 4 days ago and I was pretty scared too. As long as you like and trust the guy doing your surgery, it's no big deal. Honestly :)
So no nerve damage? I'm sitting here 48 hrs after my wisdom teeth extraction and still can't feel my chin. Definitely something going on with the nerve. I called the urgent dental clinic the first night when I was in extreme pain and they said, "You're just going to have to suffer through it"...nice, right?
Old fashioned medicine has its wisdom, you did not choose a clinic out of what they promise, or the cut rates, or their advertisings, if you do that you become a patient "of the clinic", they can do a hat trick on you, as you suffered, you do not personally know your doctor, your surgeon does not know you, everytting is business, time is money, and all this revolting new age philosphy that turns us into money making machines, I detest that, I may be poor, but I know my patients well.

@Daisymax44 Idk about the sedation: but I do know that I had Fetinol, Brevitol and Versed and I was most def OUT COLD. As far as what to eat afterwards; applesauce, pudding, smoothies, yogurt, Ramen Noodles, noodle soup (just avoid the chicken chunks), I <3 Jello, and Spaghettio's have been another one of my faves (I just had mine out 4 days ago and am still sticking to mostly soft foods).

This is worse case scenario. You're scaring a bunch of people of a lot you had wrong (no offence). Most people have soft impacted teeth, which is really nothing. The other problems are not as common.

yea i didnt take Vicodin I took Percocet and it made me throw up. As soon as my teeth started to feel better I started to throw up it was so painful.

@Eternalsummersong i know how u feel :/ THIS SUCKS! i have a wisdom tooth growing and this it hurts. a year okay this is how sensitive i am too pain about a year ago or so i had to get shots in my arms and i was freaking out i remember going to the doctor CRYING because i was scared of the needle i was only 15 or so im now 16 going to be 17 soon. but yeah this is the new big thing for me to b dreading!

Omg that sounds so awful! I had my uper and lower ones on the left side pulled this morning and I don't have alot of swelling (Kept it cool with an ice pack) and there is some pain but I have had worse.. had a rootcanal *or something* before... And your video made me feel alot better :D sorry u had to go throu that.

oh my goddd, now i am scard half to death. just today, i found out that my wisdom teeth are starting to grow in early (im 14) and i had no idea what they were until now. at first i was all excited that i had new teeth growing and then my dentist told me that i might have to get em pulled out cause he's not sure that they have room to grow. -_- im gonna die if i get em pulled out

I have to agree that this is worse case scenario. I got mine out yesterday and it's a pain in the ass to recover, but it's alright. Once you get your pain killers everything is fine. I had all four of my wisdom teeth out with no problems. You should re-title the video and say this is worse case scenario because you're scaring a lot of people. Worst part is the pain until you get your pills and I miss solid foods...
P.S. - I've watched 10 movies so far...I think I'll beat your record.

lol i have that jaw cracking thing too it came when i first had my wisdom teeth come in and today i got all 4 extracted and I still have it and it sucks ass lol i hope you are getting better i wish i had Vicodin cuz i already puked from these other crazy pills im on

Wow, and here I thought that I had the most screwed up tooth placement, but you appear to have me beaten. Even though I fell EVRY bad for you, this isn't a very good "what to expect" video, since your surgery was pretty much the worst scenario possible.

I had a top wisdom tooth removed today but the dentist couldn`t remove all the tooth and has refered me to a specialist. I am seeing them in 2 days time and am in soooooo much pain just now! It is sore swallowing but at least i can open my mouth.
I also keep getting shar bits of tooth appearing in my mouth which is horrible.
I just hope they can sort me out soon!

@sdoieqwfjhweoiuhasdo Even if you would wake up in the middle (which is completely unlikely), u still wouldn't feel a thing. They numb your mouth with a local anesthetic after you are asleep

Let me tell anyone getting their wisdom teeth out...DO NOT eat anything with rice in in it. The pieces get stuck in the holes and sometimes you can't see them...until it begins to hurt! I know from experience.

@snpierkiller Having them removed does not hurt because you will be numb and probably put to sleep as well. I am gonna warn you that afterwards your mouth will def ache pretty badly and you might acquire some temporary chipmunk cheeks (I did because I have a small face). But it is not as bad as everyone thinks; I just had mine out 4 days ago and I was pretty scared too. As long as you like and trust the guy doing your surgery, it's no big deal. Honestly :)

So no nerve damage? I'm sitting here 48 hrs after my wisdom teeth extraction and still can't feel my chin. Definitely something going on with the nerve. I called the urgent dental clinic the first night when I was in extreme pain and they said, "You're just going to have to suffer through it"...nice, right?

Old fashioned medicine has its wisdom, you did not choose a clinic out of what they promise, or the cut rates, or their advertisings, if you do that you become a patient "of the clinic", they can do a hat trick on you, as you suffered, you do not personally know your doctor, your surgeon does not know you, everytting is business, time is money, and all this revolting new age philosphy that turns us into money making machines, I detest that, I may be poor, but I know my patients well.

@Daisymax44 Idk about the sedation: but I do know that I had Fetinol, Brevitol and Versed and I was most def OUT COLD. As far as what to eat afterwards; applesauce, pudding, smoothies, yogurt, Ramen Noodles, noodle soup (just avoid the chicken chunks), I <3 Jello, and Spaghettio's have been another one of my faves (I just had mine out 4 days ago and am still sticking to mostly soft foods).

This is worse case scenario. You're scaring a bunch of people of a lot you had wrong (no offence). Most people have soft impacted teeth, which is really nothing. The other problems are not as common.
