I seem to recall a Dolly variety show on ABC on Sunday night, but it was in the 80s. This clip seems to be something earlier, and lower budget. Am I right?

@defundthewar yes, this show aired during the 1976-77 season, and was filmed in Nashville and was syndicated (hence the lower budget and cheaper production values); she indeed also had a much bigger, splashier variety show on ABC during the 1987-88 season.
