I had an '09 C63, I loved it and the sound was spiritual! Got rid of it back in January and I just got a '10 E63. The MCT trans is great but I do miss the sound of that C63, hopefully the new DR520 C63 finds it's way to the US soon.

they will change the 6.3l to a new developed, even stronger 5.5l engine. first car with the new engine will be the new s 63 amg. in this e class its still the 6.3l

yes, but this is the first MB AMG sedan to sound this good. The previous 07-09 MB CLS 63 AMG and E63 AMG, does not sound exactly like the SL63. But this new 2010 E63 AMG does. Thanks for the reply.

yes driver def has to be taken into account, but in the benz, even b4 this 2010 version got released for the most part u just get in and step on the gas, i know there are a lot of dumb ppl, but honestly to screw that up.... in the new one and on bimmers the launch control can make or break u, esp on the bimmer M cars, ive driven the m3, m5, and m6. if u dont set launch control perfectly, in a drag race, ur gone, shit the m5 only does 0-60 in 5.2sec if u dont hit m button and set up launch and

set up many more things w/in idrive, that is y ur friend with the m6 will get mixed results in a drag, one thing off and he wont launch off the line to take on many lower powered cars, and esp not against an audi with quattro which is wont have any problems, drag also depends on a lot of other factors, but for general purposes, my point is that audi with soo much added power doesnt really add up to more performance. theres a barrier to too much power, hate to admit it, but they realize it too

the back headlights are ugly. Looks like there was no thought process in the shape of the lights. It was just "lets do like everyone and make them rectangular" The front is cooler design but the back lights look worse and it doesn't look like an AMG. It looks like a Volvo S60 or something in the back.

if we really want to be serious, mercedes is the most copied car company in the world:

they invented the car with the benz motorwagen. MB was the first with the 3-point seat belt, air bags, the crumple zone, keyless go, the list goes on and on. i think a couple of companies have copied those too.
