Just got me a 87 rx7 2nd gen I traded my honda civic for it I did not want to but I am so glad I did! Do you know where I can find a wide body kit for my rx7?

sounds good. hope it was warmed up :P i'm on my 1st RX-7, still got loads of work to do on it though. heat treat the engine and gear box, carbon seals and the like... *dreams*

i dunno these cars are awsome for drifting and with almost perfect balance it doesnt need soo much power... ++++ their not so cheap... well a perfect running one

you can get a decent FC for less than 5 grand with manual transmission.

well, it's the winter beater because it drifts nicely in the snow, it's cheap, fun, and looks nice. OK ok so it's not really a BEATER, but it's no RX-8, FD or BMW:P

wuts wrong drifting a FC im sure u want to put alot into the car then go for it im buying a 88 rx7 and going to make that my next drift car 300zx are a lot of work and takes to much time

lol sounds good, just wondering why does drifting make you sad? it seems to be the "popular" thing to do, even though it's not the fastest style of driving

Drifting is popular, yeah, it also takes a lot of practice, time, power, and talent. Granted everything with cars takes a lot of practice. If you want to drift, go for it, but really, if you bought it to drift, you bought the wrong car. All of that aside, the RX-7 is a blast to drive. In the winter, they're fun, too.

oh, so that's what you ment. No no I bought this car to get me around in the winter. It's my winter beater. I know it's no good for serious drifting. The car is too weak/old/beatup. Plus it would cost me thousands in upgrades to suspension, transmission, breaks, rims, tires, a well tuned turbo, and many other things.

It's not suited to drift. She's my baby I'll take good care of her. I see you have the exact same year as mine. Do you have any problems starting it up sometimes? I keep getting this problem starting up, I had to get it towed one day cause it just wouldn't start. It would turn over but not fire up, then it randomly started working again.
