They do, but I think they both need something to redeem themselves to make their relationship solid. Audiences aren't satisfied with hook-ups until there's some sort of fight before they get there. I do know, however, that Rebecca has 2 more episodes left so I wonder how much of their storyline they are going to develop in the last few episodes. Part of me, though, still has a gut feeling that Alex and Izzie aren't completely finished, though.
