  • its a female.....judging by that size it should be around 2 years old thats the age you should be able to tell...behind the thighs you should see some spikes comming out and the shield on its jaws should be always sticking out alot also....the females on the other hand can stick out those shields but only when they get mad then they slim down back to normal...so that iguana should be a female

  • awesome iggy man, cant wait to get mine

  • hey dude, how old is your iggy? mine is a little over a year, male, and he never head bobs ever. he's real tame. just wondering if yours started bobbing earlier or later?

  • how old is he?

  • dude... NEVER have a dog and an iguana in the same room. that's dangerous.

  • @madpierrot92. actually its not dangerous. its if the dog bothers it it will bite or whip the dog but besides that its ok.

  • @LaZyBoNeSz

I know, but if they did get in a fight, something would go to the vet.

  • yea true you can really make your iggys stress level go up and then next thing you know its dead.....and youll never know why

  • how old is it??

  • when their small they might tolerate each other, but once they start to grow they can get in fights. i recomend to keep them separate to avoid fights, otherwise their gonna need a lot of space.

  • not sure, it looks like a male to me but not 100% sure
