Mr. Groban had some pitch difficulties, but I noticed some from Mr. Bocelli in spots as well. No one is perfect, and I imagine Mr. Groban was a bit nervous performing with a legend like Mr. Bocelli. In their voices (both of their voices) I hear the sound of angels singing, these men are truly gifts from God, sent to give our mortal ears a brief glimpse of the sounds of heaven.

@23agustus1986 I think it's just the contrast between Josh's normal note and Andrea's maybe needlessly too high note. Andrea's never sung this note that high whenever he sang this song. It's a little bit strange and this part seems off-key because of it. Furthermore whenever Josh sang it the higher part was his but now since Andrea is a tenor but Josh is a baritone, Josh sang the lower part. I think this song is rather for a female-male duett but it's good,too because they have beautiful voices.

They were too busy competing with each other and they skipped where Bocelli would sing in Latin and Groban would repeat in English. I love how bocelli uses ONE breath at the end. Groban uses about six. Bocelli is LEAPS and bounds ahead of this kid. If you are a vocalist, you understand what I'm saying. Groban has a nice voice. The ability isn't even close between them. LOL i just can't stop laughing. Bocelli, falsetto, one breath, groban, musters all his strength to squeek out 6 seconds of singing. No support, no power. @ThePooroldman Actually, if you watch Groban singing in Chess (the song "Anthem" in particular) or some of his original songs you'll find he does have the ability to hold a note for a long period. I think that in this case it may have been the arrangement. That being said, as much of a fan I am of Groban, I don't care for his performance much in this song. He sounds a little too harsh to me. Also, having seen him in concert I can tell you the man has incredible power.

Sadly, Josh oversings in his "operatic" manner. Though he has a nice voice, Andrea simply blows Josh out of the water in terms of his technique, tone, and vocal quality. But then again, few contemporary singers can share the stage well with Andrea's immense talent. See Andrea's duet with Heather Hedley.

I could listen to both of them for hours - I LOVE their voices. However, I think Bocelli has peaked; he is great but I don't think he will get any better. Josh, however, is young and still has plenty of room to grow. Imagine what HE will be like in another 20 years or so!
