@xXanimefreakstylexX Hello. Do you mean the corners? If all the corners need to be rotated, the method presented here states to do the given move-set R U R' U R U2 R' , which only solves the "fish" case. Doing that move-set on any case, like the one where all pieces need to be rotated, will rotate three corners clockwise, and that may or may not result in the desired "fish" case. Just keep doing that move on whatever case you have, and eventually you will get to that case through experience.
@unidentified0010 ok thanks got it. but another q. is there a inverse way( to the inverse of the pattern to move clockwise) if u need to rotate the top edges counterclocwise?
@xXanimefreakstylexX Mhm, and it's actually quite similar to the clockwise one! So for switching three edges counter clockwise, do R2 U' F B' R2 B F' U' R2. The only difference between this counterclockwise one and the clockwise version is the 2nd and 2nd to last moves, namely the only top layer turns. They are both counterclockwise U' turns instead of the clockwise U in the other one. Hope this helps!
I did the turn thing and got what you got for the yellow so at forst i didn't have what you had i did it and i got what you have then i did it again to finish the side and i all got messed up what did i do wrong?
@elizamarie1999 Hello, sorry for the late reply as I was out of the country. I am not too sure what you are asking, but usually if it completely gets messed up you've probably done something wrong in the process. The only way (for now) is to go back to a previous step and work back up. When you get better you will know how to correct your mistakes. If you have more questions don't hesitate to ask
@IshankPEOPLEonly Hello sorry for the late response, as the comments don't show up in my email all the time. If you have the white, yellow faces and all the two layers but the corners are not right, most likely you have to do the step before this. So move the corners to the correct place as shown in the corner permutation video, and then proceed with this step, then you should be on the right track. If you have any questions feel free to ask, thanks!
@DeejayKishu it should be in part 5, the previous video. watch that one for a more in-depth explanation. if you just want the alg, put the two incorrect corners you want to switch vertically, and do this: L U' R' U L' U' R
@alexbc10 to get the basic "fish"-looking case? for this beginner's method you just have to repeat the same move, R U R' U R U2 R' , until you get to that shape. that algorithm flips three corners clockwise, so taking a look at the cube, try to figure where to perform the algorithm to get the case. it might take a while to get to that point, if you have any problems please ask.
what if out of pure luck or something in part five you already got the yellow complete?
