@themodernguitarist Yeah, supposedly they're going to work on recording a new album right away which is awesome. The last Anthrax album Joey sang on was 20 years ago. It'll be cool to hear him sing to some new Anthrax material.

@NightmareSnake They were originally working on it with Dan Nelson singing...They kicked Dan out of the band and then Bush came back for a short while...from what I understand the album was already recorded but Bush wasn't interested in recording vocal tracks for the music. Not sure if he didn't like the tunes or what. Then of course Bush left and they brought Joey back. According to the band Joey will sing on the new album. Should be pretty awesome.

Yeah his band also played there that night after the karaoke singing, I have some video footage of it on my "Jason Lively at Spooky Empire 2009" video. I recorded a bunch of their songs live too like 'Madhouse', 'Medusa', 'Indians' etc. I may post some up on my page if people are interested.

Joey was singing and playing drums for awhile with his Belladonna solo project a few years back but not anymore. I'm not sure if the old drummer quit and he just decided to fill in for awhile or what. Belladonna has a drummer now though and Joey is back to just singing.

JSS sounds less like Perry, that's why he got the boot.

He also had to duck a lot of the higher notes, such as in Stone in Love.

I don't know if Joey could hit them, either.....Perry's a tough voice to try and emulate.

Very true. However, JSS does a fairly passable "Perry" in spots on the new W.E.T. CD.

Especially on the track If I Fall. It almost comes off as a "Hey Neal? Listen to THIS" song, lol. It's VERY Journey-esque
