It took about 8 hours total our first time. All afternoon and a few hours the next day polishing things. We also made a fancy entrance which isn't required. I bet someone could make a 12' igloo in as little as 4 hours if everything went perfectly.
Normally we pack a quarry weeks or months ahead of time and cut blocks from it for construction the old fashioned way. Which is a tremendous amount of work/planning. Icebox allows you to throw up an igloo in a day with less overall effort.

It's cool! Which temperature was in the forest? Is it really possible to compress standard snow to hard and durable blocks??
