I agree. they are a pain in the ass to open. But it works perfectly. Any new key that you buy you also have to learn into the car.
These things are a pain in the azz. I'm buying new one. I tried to screw with it and it was a NO GO. I see you have no follow up.....You did not get it to work did ya?
I used a 15W solder iron with a very small pointy tip.
