@red2004sox1 - You're making some assumptions. The President's Own are independent of the Marine Corps Music Program. These are accomplished professional musicians - not boots out of high school. Your daughter may be enlisting to play in a Marine band but I would wager she won't be playing for the President's Own. Members of the President's Own do not go to boot camp.

All of the President's own are professional musicians. None of them went to bootcamp but they still hold the title of Marine.
