Thank you so much for showing the technique for us beginners! Good job. Nice tutorial. I am glad I watched this before my tool and ink comes in the mail. God bless.
Diamond Girl, Tim Holtz is the Creative Director of Ranger, the company that makes this product. He has a lot of great tutorials on UTube. If you type in "ranger" you should find him. Thanks Tonya for the tute.
Tim Holtz's site says to tilt the blending tool & foam so as not to have hard lines. Also he said the Distress Inks are unique 'cause they are reactive with water - the fun part. Smear or streak the colors, or apply it to the craft mat, spritz with H2O and smoosh the paper onto the ink itself. Tons of possibilities. :)
Very helpful! Thanks! I've had a heckuva time locating those foam things....my local craft stores sell only the felt. Hobby Lobby has the foam but sells only 2 with a new wood holder. You can't just buy the foam! I guess I can order online somewhere.
Great tutorial, thanks so much. I was looking for a distressing ink video and yours is the best I've seen. Thanks and please keep helping the new scrappers like me :)

Um, actually Distress Inks are not unique because they're water reactive.. alot of different companies carry water reactive inks.

these are dye inks just a little slower drying then what we are used to as dye inks and special formulation to take the water.
